Magolor is a major character in the Kirby franchise.
He is an alien traveler who attempted to steal the Master Crown with the intent of using it to become omnipotent and take over the universe. However, after being defeated by Kirby, he would eventually redeem himself and become one of his closest allies.
He is voiced by Hirokazu Ando.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Even as a villain, he was genuinely kind and respectful to those around him, enemies included.
- While he originally coveted the Master Crown and tricked Kirby and his friends into stealing it from its guardian Landia so he could use it to conquer the universe, he grew remorseful of his actions after he was possessed by the crown, defeated by Kirby and banished to another dimension completely powerless.
- When the Master Crown revived itself, he used an augmented blade to slice it in half, destroying it for good and preventing it from causing any more destruction.
- Upon warping to the Dream Kingdom, he set up shop and provided Team Kirby with several weapons and abilities so they could vanquish threats like King D-Mind, Parallel Nightmare and even Aeon Hero.
- Upon returning to Dream Land, he built an entire amusement park for Kirby to play in to make up for his betrayal.
- He helped Kirby in defeating the universe-destroying god Void Termina and preventing Hyness from trying to summon a new threat, as well as redeeming him and the Three Mage-Sisters.
- While he isn't as admirable as Kirby, he still stands out due to having less resources than him, as well as the fact that he is one of the few characters in the franchise to perform a heroic act without his direct input.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He has a few moments of mischief, such as him actively hindering Kirby during their races, trying to block King Dedede's view of the final level of Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe and even pretending to revert to his past hegemony when Team Kirby purchases all of his products.
- He can be rather arrogant at times, as can be seen with him unsportsmanlike gloating whenever he takes the lead or wins in his races against Kirby.
