Lord Viscount Tewkesbury is the deuteragonist of the Enola Holmes film series, being the deuteragonist of Enola Holmes and a major protagonist in its sequel, Enola Holmes 2.

He is a member of the Tewkesbury family but left it and became a runaway in order to sell flowers in the Convent Garden. After someone started trying to kill him, he met Enola Holmes, running as well, in a train. After Enola discovers a conspiracy involving him, she tries to find him again in order to solve the case and bring him to his rightful place at the chamber of the lords. This is because he was a progressist, and his grandmother was trying to kill him to prevent him from voting for the reform bill.

In the sequel, now a properly Lord, he meets Enola again, as she tries to solve a case involving a missing girl in a match factory. With both of them in love with each other but not admitting it, he helps her with things such as dancing, which are necessary for her to solve the case, only to eventually discover that he has an even more important role in this case than he imagined.

He was portrayed by Louis Partridge.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]

  • He helps Enola escape Linthorn, who was after them, in the train.
  • When Enola took him to his loodgings, and Inspector Lestrade was trying to force the door open, Tewkesbury was regretful to abandon Enola, but did out of her own wishes.
  • He saved Enola from Mycroft's preparatory school by sneaking into it and breaking her out.
  • He and Enola went to the Tewkesbury hall to face his uncle.
  • After the Tewksbury case was solved, he went from the chamber of the lords and voted for the reform bill, to improve rights for women.
  • He kept fighting for women's rights through and through.
  • He politely taught Enola to dance.
  • He helped Enola solve the Sarah Chapman case.
  • He figured out the riddle, that the place where the conspirators were hiding was the chamber of gods.
  • He fought against Grail and his guards in the chamber of gods.
  • He helped Sarah Chapman in her matchgirls strike.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

  • He fails the standards to Enola, who solved both cases in both movies, helping both him and Sarah achieve their goals, and Sarah, who with less resources, (even if she needed his help) made the matchgirld strike and exposed the factory's crimes, preventing any more kills from happening there.

Trivia[]

  • He and Enola are the only two Enola Holmes heroes to be Near Pure Good.
