Lloyd Garmadon is the main protagonist of The Lego Ninjago Movie. He is the green ninja and the leader of the Secret Ninja Force, who's also the son of Lord Garmadon which makes him a social pariah on his daily life.
He is voiced by Dave Franco.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He joined the Secret Ninja Force to help stop his father's invasion of Ninjago City.
- He holds no ill will towards the people of Ninjago despite the massive bullying he is subjected to on a daily basis for his father's actions and the way he is outcasted from society.
- When Garmadon attacks the city once again during his birthday, he goes to face him and manages to defeat and lead him out of Ninjago for now.
- He saves a school bus full of children from falling to their deaths.
- He fights Garmadon once again, and after his mech is destroyed he leaves to take the Ultimate Weapon so that he can use it against his father.
- He feels great remorse for the destruction caused by Garmadon and Meowthra and accepts it's his fault while trying to find the other Ninja.
- Throughout the movie he tries to regain the Ninja and Wu's trust on their journey.
- He, Wu and the Ninja go to retrieve the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon to dethrone Garmadon and defeat Meowthra.
- He follows Wu's orders not to intervene on his duel with Garmadon.
- He refuses to free Garmadon from the cage Wu trapped him in and only brought him along when realizing they had no other choice as they needed his help.
- He tries to fight Garmadon's former generals which allows the other Ninja to escape.
- He puts his differences with his father aside and works with him and the other ninja to build a makeshift helicopter and escape the fired generals.
- He bonds with his father while learning how to throw and drive.
- Despite wanting to be with his father, he refuses his offer of becoming his #1 general and help him conquer Ninjago, staying with the Ninja and refusing to fight him as he escapes.
- He realizes what inner peace means and motivates all the ninja to unleash the power within which allows them to escape the collapsing temple.
- He arrives to Ninjago and begins to fight Garmadon's army alongside the other ninja.
- Instead of killing Meowthra who ate his father, he comforts the giant cat and reaches out to his father, apologizing to him and making Meowthra cough him out which caused Garmadon to stop his invasions and Meowthra to become the city's mascot.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He is very reckless as his misuse of the ultimate weapon is what caused Meowthra to begin his rampage in the first place and allowed Garmadon to conquer Ninjago. What's worse is he was warned by Wu to not use the weapon previously and went behind his back to steal it while Wu was fighting Garmadon's generals. Even his friends rightfully call him out for this, and he loses their trust because of it. Not to mention, in his first fight with Garmadon, he unleashes every missile from his dragon, with no regard for property damage or any citizen caught up in the volley of missiles out of anger, and he goes for the huge missile volley again, but right at the start of their second fight.

- He is currently the only version of Lloyd Garmadon to be Near Pure Good.
- He is the only Ninjago Near Pure Good to originate from the film and not the original show.
