~ Liam's heroic breakdown as he confronts Airy
Liam Plecak, also known as Backpack, his nickname in ONE, is the main protagonist of the animated web-series ONE.
He is a sentient backpack, who got chosen by Airy to participate in the supernatural, game-show like event known as ONE. As he survives the competition, Liam eventually tries to end it for good, so it'll never hurt anyone again.
He is a very kind and selfless person, as he is willing to do anything to free the contestants from ONE.
He seems to care for all of his friends, and their well-beings, as he wants all of them to escape ONE with them.
ONE[]
When Tomato is about to be crushed, Liam instantly attempts to save him.
Despite the prize being a wish for anything in the world, Liam does not care about this atall, and simply wants to go home with the others.
When Airy was injured, Liam helps the remaining objects thrive in the plane.
After finally being eliminated, the first thing Liam does is go all the way to Bryce's house so he can try and convince him to help him find Airy and stop ONE for good.
He convinced Bryce to go to the homeless shelter so he the two can get information from Oscar, a former contestant on the show.
While in the waiting room with Bryce, he went looking through a bunch of different places to find Stone.
He encouraged Bryce to stop fighting.
Although he lies to Owen, it's because so wouldn't know about ONE.
Before going to Airy's home, he frees Julien from a fate worse then death by helping him go back to earth.
He attempts to try and free everyone from the show, to no avail.
He makes a deal with Airy so that he'd fix his cassette player if he sent everybody back home.
After Airy's death, it's presumed that Liam continues to try and learn about the computer so he can eventually send everyone back home to their normal lives.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
Despite generally being a kind person, he feels no remorse for crashing Bryce's car, and doesn't apologize for it.
He tends to be driven by anger and vengeance but seems it derives from Airy's atrocities so it's justifiable.
He also tries to kill Airy with an axe after he finds out that he is planning on kidnapping more people for his show. While Airy arguably deserved it, he was genuinely affable toward Liam and didn't try to hurt him intentionally. This makes him slightly lethal.
Trivia[]
Liam is one of the only four Object Show characters to be Near Pure Good along with Texty, Stone and Knife (from Inanimate Insanity).
