ONE? Is that an acronym or something?
~ Liam Plecak
Do you realize how much suffering you've caused me!? Do you realize the torture you put so many innocent people through!? You apathetic, deranged, psycopath! End this. NOW!
~ Liam's heroic breakdown as he confronts Airy

Liam Plecack, also known as Backpack, his nickname in ONE, is the main protagonist of the animated webseries ONE.

He is a sentient backpack, who got chosen by Airy to participate in the supernatural, game-show like event known as ONE. As he survives the competition, Liam eventually tries to end it for good, so it'll never hurt anyone again.

He was voiced by ThatPerson.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]

  • He tried to save the infant tomato.
  • He doesn't even care about the prize, all he wants in the competition is for him (and if he can help it, the others) to go home.
  • When he spent 7 months away from the competition, he guided the other objects through Scenty.
  • He invited Bryce to help him stop Airy's sick game and make him pay for their trauma.
  • Convinced Bryce to join by revealing that Scenty was still in the competition.
  • He got into an argument with Bryce, as while the latter wanted to stay in his normal life, Liam wanted to stop the game by any means possible.
  • Got information about the game from the original competitor, Oscar Mayworth.
  • Looked for Stone while in the Waiting Room.
  • Encouraged Bryce to stop fighting.
  • He, Texty, and Bryce went to San Francisco to gather more information.
  • Although he lies to Owe, it's just because he knows he wouldn't believe about ONE.
  • Before facing Airy, he took Julien Beautmont back home.
  • He pushes Airy off his chair and tries to get everyone back home, though he can't figure out how to use The Computer.
  • He makes a deal with Airy so that he'd fix his cassette player if he sent everybody back home.
  • The series ends with Liam trying to figure out how to get everybody back home with the computer, though it doesn't show if he ever succeeded or not.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

  • He didn't apologize for crashing Bryce's car.
  • He tends to be driven by anger and vengeance but seems it derives from Airy's atrocities, it's justifiable.
    • He also tries to kill Airy with an axe after he finds out that he is planning on kidnapping more people for his show. While Airy arguably deserved it, he was genuinely affable toward Liam and didn't try to hurt him intentionally. This makes him slightly lethal.

Trivia[]

  • Liam is so far the only Object Show character to be Near Pure Good.
