Leonardo is one of main protagonists of the 2014 Nickelodeon movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and its 2016 sequel, Out of The Shadows.
He is a skilled ninja dedicated to protecting New York City from various threats. His primary adversary is the notorious criminal organization known as the Foot Clan, which had been instilling fear in the city for a prolonged period. Leonardo, along with his fellow turtles Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, engages in relentless battles against the Foot Clan, thwarting their sinister plans and ensuring the safety of the city's inhabitants. - Him and his brothers fought against the Foot Clan, who are a dangerous gang of criminals led by Shredder, who terrorized New York for a long time.
- Saved a subway of hostages from being blown up by the Foot Clan.
- Stood up to Raph who intimidated April.
- Helps Splinter and his brothers fight off Foot Soldiers and also telling Mikey to bring April to a safe.
- Drops his weapons so that Splinter doesn’t get killed by Shredder.
