Knuckles the Echidna is one of the three deuteragonists (alongside Sally Acorn and Dr. Eggman) of the Spirits of Hell franchise. He is one of the main three protagonists (alongside Miles "Tails" Prower and Dr. Eggman) of the prequel, Sonic.exe: The Spirits of Hell. He is also one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Dr. Eggman) of the sequel, Sally.exe: Whisper of Soul. Like his original counterpart, he is an echidna who protect the Master Emerald from evil forces who might want to use its powers, but here, the evil is specifically an entity known as Exeller, who wants to corrupt the whole world with it.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He always tries to defend the Master Emerald from anyone who might want to use it and its powers.
- Despite Eggman being his and Sonic's enemy for a long time, he accepts his redemption and becomes friends with him, fighting side by side to protect the Universe from Exeller.
- Along with the rest of the resistance, he tried to stop Exeller repeatedly form killing millions of people through corrupting the entire universe.
- He was worried about Tails and tried to find him after receiving his message.
- He tried to protect Eggman from Exeller, even though Eggman just tried to take the Master Emerald for himself.
- He managed to kill Exeller with a trap, though he later was revealed to have survived.
- Threw Tails to a safe place before being killed.
- He activates many generators to prevent Exeller from setting Freedom City in fire.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He still shows himself to be quite arrogant sometimes.
