Kate García is the tritagonist of Telltale's The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.
She is the wife of David García but starts to develop feelings for his brother Javier, being determinately his new girlfriend.
She was voiced by Shelly Shenoy.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Even though she started getting involved with Javier while still being married to David, this can't be classified as adultery because not only was David an abusive hothead, but he was also gone for four years, and she thought he was dead during that time and only found out otherwise due to some very specific circumstances.
- She is the only one who is kind and doesn't blame Javier for not being there when his father dies.
- She hides the kids under the trailer park when The New Frontier starts looking for them.
- She tries to run to Marianna's body after her death before she is shot.
- If you decide to leave with Kate earlier, she will help rescue Javier when he is captured.
- She helps Clementine when she starts getting period cramps.
- She helps Javi get the truck to rescue David.
- When Javi, Gabe and Clementine go to David's execution she stays in the truck as the getaway driver.
- She will be mortified if she accidentally runs over Conrad with the truck.
- She saves Javi when he gets attacked by a walker.
- When Fern tries to shoot Javi after Rufus gets bit and her daughter is killed, Kate stands in front of him and offers her life as she feels responsible.
- No matter what decision you make, Kate will refuse to leave Richmond as she feels responsible for their downfall and will go back and selflessly fight the herd with a giant crane and seals the wall shut. It's even more heroic if she goes alone and Clementine and Javi go after Gabe, as she does this action by herself.
- She gives David a funeral and quick eulogy if he dies despite her dislike of him.
- While she was initially cynical and detached as a mother, she completely subverts this by the end as she fully accepts Gabe and Marianna as her kids and will mourn Mari when she dies.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- If the player choose to accept Kate’s feelings, she will kiss Javi in front of David after dumping him and taunt him about it.
