Kagome Higurashi is the female protagonist of the Inuyasha anime/manga series. She is a 15-year-old girl and student in a middle school in Tokyo, with mysterious spiritual maiden powers. She's the love interest of Inuyasha, with her presence being one of the main reasons why Inuyasha became more heroic as the series progresses. She's also the reincarnation of a priestess named Kikyo, who died 50 years ago.

  • She can be a bit too harsh and wrathful on Inuyasha when he annoys her. The fact is she does not subvert her harshness when getting mad at him later on, even though it's a minor prevention given her generally very honorable and kind nature.
