Jin is the tritagonist of DreamWorks' 2019 animated feature film Abominable. He is a popular boy in the city of Shanghai, Peng's cousin, and one of Yi's best friends and her love interest.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Despite being too popular, he was known to be a very good friend to Yi and a good cousin to Peng.
- When he mistakenly believed Everest kidnapped Yi, he and his cousin Peng try to save her.
- He came along with Yi and Peng to get Everest back home to the Mount Everest.
- When he discovered that Dr. Zara planned to kill him, Yi, and Peng, after she captures Everest, he abandoned his popularity life to save them.
- He came on a boat to the village to pick Yi, Peng, and Everest and save them from Dr. Zara and Burnish.
- When Yi was heartbroken because her violin was broken, he reconciled her and apologized to her for all the rude things he said to her family before.
- After Everest fixed Yi’s violin and discovered that it had magical powers like him, he started to believe in fairytales and fantasies and befriending Everest.
- When Dr. Zara betray Burnish and caught Everest at the bridge, he along with Yi and Peng tried to defend him from her, though she locked him and Peng on a car and she thought she killed Yi by throwing her from a great height on the bridge.
- After Yi managed to survive the fall and she used her magic violin to revive Everest, he was relieved to see her alive and see Everest that he was okay.
- After Dr. Zara’s death and Burnish decided to let Everest go, he along with Yi and Peng reunite Everest back to his family and he even waved his last goodbye to him.
- After Everest returned back home and Yi become a more sociable person, he became a better person as he abandoned most of his arrogance and passed time with Yi and Peng.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- At the beginning of the movie, he was very arrogant and presumed popular boy, always checking his phone and taking selfies of himself, even when he and some of his friends mocked Yi when she was dirty cause she was taking out the garbage, and although he subverted most of his corrupting factors, some of his arrogance remained in him.
- Unlike Yi and Peng who befriend Everest the first moment they met him, he acted like a completely heroic jerk because he believed he was dangerous and a horrible beast, however he befriended him, after discovering that he was not evil after all, so this is a minor prevention.
