Jill Valentine is one of the main protagonists of the Resident Evil video game series.
She made her first appearance in the original Resident Evil game released in 1996. Jill is a former member of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) police team in Raccoon City. Throughout the series, she works with allies, especially Chris, to deal with many biohazards, outbreaks, and villains such as Albert Wesker.
She has been voiced in English by Una Kavanagh in the Resident Evil, Catherine Disher in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Patricia Ja Lee in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil 5, Michelle Ruff in Resident Evil Revelations.

- As Jill delved deeper into the mansion, she discovered that it was a front for Umbrella's bio-weapons research. She exposed her to various documents and files that revealed the existence of the T-Virus and its role in the horrific events surrounding the mansion.

- Helps Barry escape a room with a collapsing ceiling.

- Helps Dario Rosso, a civilian terrified by the chaos, find temporary safety in a warehouse. Though he chooses to lock himself in a crate, her actions gave him a chance to survive in the early stages of the outbreak.
- Tries to convince Dario to leave the crate and escape the city with her.
- Tracks down the source of an emergency radio transmission, leading her to Carlos Oliveira and his group.
- Decided to stay in Raccoon City secretly instead of fleeing like many others. She knew the city was in danger and wanted to investigate Umbrella's underground facility.
- Found Brad Vickers injured by zombies at the Black Jack Bar. Even though she was in danger herself, she took the time to check on him and tried to keep him safe.
- Despite her initial distrust due to his association with Umbrella, she eventually decides to trust Carlos after he helps her survive another Nemesis attack.
- Takes on the task of finding the necessary materials to repair the tram, enabling the group to attempt their escape via the clock tower.
- Battles the Nemesis after the helicopter is shot down, putting herself at risk to protect Carlos and to stop it from killing more survivors.
- Even while incapacitated by the T-Virus, she provides Carlos with guidance on where to go and what to do, helping him secure the vaccine needed to save her life.

- Made it to St. Michael's Clock Tower and tried to ring the bell to signal for help. Even though Nemesis destroyed the helicopter that was supposed to rescue her, she never gave up and continued to fight.
- Engages a battle with Nemesis in the waste processing room, temporarliy defeating it and securing the keycard needed to escape the facility.
- Fought Nemesis one last time at the Incineration Disposal Plant. The Nemesis was badly disfigured, but Jill killed it for good.
- At the disposal plant, she found an experimental rail cannon developed by Delta Force. She used the weapon to severely weaken Nemesis.
- She finally destroyed Nemesis after a long battle. which protected countless lives and ensured that it would no longer be a threat to anyone.
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles[]
- Joined the Private Anti-Biohazard Service so she can take down Umbrella, along with her partner, Chris Redfield.
- Helps defeat the mutated giant bat in the Arklay Research Facility.
- Defeats the giant snake Yawn.
- Helps to defeat the T-103 Tyrant.
- Works with Chris to escape the mansion before its self-destruction.
- Assists Carlos Oliveira during their mission in Raccoon City
- Saved Anna, a young girl who had been throwed by her parents and took her to safety.
- Captured the chemical plant and ended B.O.W.'s production, destroying all of the bio weapons for good.
- Saves Anna from Wesker.
- She uncovers the truth behind the Umbrella Corporation’s illegal activities, including their involvement in creating bio-weapons and causing the outbreak of the T-virus.
- Helps defeat the Tyrant R in the Caucasus facility
- She battles against hordes of infected creatures, including zombies, mutated monsters, and bio-organic weapons created by the Umbrella Corporation.

- Upon finding the underground dungeon filled with tortured prisoners and B.O.W.s, she and Chris attempted to document and expose the atrocities committed by Spencer and Umbrella.
- She and Chris Wesker him in battle, trying to bring him to justice and stop his reign of terror.
- Before Wesker can finish Chris, she sacrifice herself by pushing him into a window, resulting her and Wesker to fall from a long hight.

- Collaborated with Leon Kennedy during their investigation on Alcatraz.
- She, alongside Leon, discovered the blueprints for the Mosquito Drones used to spread the T-Virus.
- Confronted Dylan Blake, the mastermind behind the bioterror attacks, even when he tried to manipulate her into killing Claire, which she refuses.
- Confronted the mutated Dylan Blake, using an experimental plasma rifle to deal significant damage to him.
- Distracted Blake long enough for Chris and Leon to assemble a rocket launcher.
- Set off the grenades she had attached to Blake, delivering the final blow that ended his threat once and for all.

What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She has moments of severe arrogance and recklessness in Death Island, as when she and Chris were investigating a couple's homestead, She rushed when she heard a zombie and endangered herslef and led to death of one of Chris's men in the process without feeling remorse, and when Chris found her and berated her for her reckless action, she coldly replied ''I'm not waiting for backup when there's a chance someone in danger''.
- Her interactions with Barry Burton are filled with tension and suspicion. Depending on player choices and actions, she can either trust Barry, leading to his aid in critical moments, or doubt him, which affects their dynamic and can lead to different outcomes, including holding him at gunpoint and endangering herself and him from a zombie.
