Jake is the deuteragonist of Reel FX's first animated feature Free Birds.
He is the President of the Turkeys Liberation Front. He is a determined and somewhat insane turkey who forces Reggie to come along with an insane mission: go back in time to make sure turkeys are not part of the first Thanksgiving. Through foolhardiness and luck, the pair manage to take an experimental time machine to do just that. During their mission, Jake and Reggie's preconceptions of the world and themselves are challenged forever in a conflict from which the world will never be the same.
He was voiced by Woody Harrelson.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- While he did kidnap Reggie against his will at first, it was only because to have him go on a quest alongside him back in time to the first Thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu.
- He saved Reggie from almost being burnt alive by the security guards.
- He stole a time machine being experimented on named S.T.E.V.E to go back to 1621.
- He safely got away with Reggie from the flock who saved them from Myles Standish.
- Even though he had a rivalry with Ranger at first showing off their strength, he eventually put his differences aside, and joined with him as allies to save the turkeys.
- He told Reggie his tragic story on where he came from in the future, and how he let his family down from escaping to make his own flock, but also being given the sacred time knob from The Great Turkey who happened to be Reggie himself.
- He (alongside Reggie) went to the village to blow up their weapons shed so there would be no Thanksgiving.
- After accidentally leading Myles Standish right to the flock, he made up for it by saving the eggs and the hatched turkey chicks in the nursery.
- With the other remaining turkeys in the flock who didn't get captured, he went to fight against Myles Standish, and his men alongside the whole flock to save the turkeys from being part of the Thanksgiving meal.
- He happily enjoyed eating pizza, and the company of the other turkeys for Thanksgiving.
- When Reggie decided to stay with Jenny and the flock, he went on his own adventures where he would be needed, and only came back a few seconds later to introduce turducken to Reggie.
- He is currently on another adventure to stop the production of turducken.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He has jerk moments in the film, such as slapping Reggie in the face, and blowing up his wattle really big showing his strength against Ranger, until Jenny stopped them.
