I'm gonna kill Praxis!
~ Jak's first line in the series

Jak is the titular protagonist of the Jak and Daxter series, and the overarching protagonist of Daxter. He is the titular and playable character in all of the games in the series (with the only exception of the spin-off game Daxter). In the first game, Aaron Lohr provided Jak's sound effects. Jak was later voiced by Mike Erwin in II, 3, X, and PlayStation Move Heroes. Jak was then voiced by Josh Keaton in Lost Frontier.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]

  • In the first game, he and Daxter stopped Gol and Maia from flooding the world with Dark Eco, and they helped many people with their problems along the way.
  • During his first transformation into Dark Jak, he stopped himself from killing Daxter.
  • He and Daxter joined the Underground Resistance to help out the people who were being oppressed by Baron Praxis. He also saved the members after Torn gave them away.
  • He was able to convince Ashelin that what her father was doing was wrong.
  • He protected his younger self from the Krimzon Guards.
  • He defeated Metal Kor, saving his younger self as well as ending his and Praxis' reign of terror over Haven City.
  • He and Daxter saved several Wastelanders and brought them shelters.
  • He refused to kill Sig during a fighting tournament even though Damas would punish both of them.
  • He and Daxter protected Spargus City from various Metal Head Beasts the extra-terrestrial Dark Makers.
  • Although he refused to return to Haven City and told Ashelin that Haven City can rot for all he cares, it was understandable since he was unfairly outcasted and exiled by Veger, he eventually changed his mind to help the townsfolk there out.
  • He and Daxter helped the former Underground members and the Freedom League protect the city from various enemies.
  • He and Daxter saved Seem from a Dark Maker invasion at the Precursor Temple.
  • After Damas' dies, he vowed to save Spargus City and the world.
  • Although he raged out at Veger for taunting him about how he died without knowing Jak was his son, it was completely understandable.
  • He and Daxter defeated Errol, stopping his plan to destroy the world.
  • At the end of the game, when offered by the Precursors to tour the universe, he chooses to stay, and tells Daxter that he would never leave him.
  • In Jak X, he defeated Mizo and ended his criminal empire, while getting the antidote that saved him and his friend from being poisoned.
  • In The Lost Frontier, he defeated Duke Skyweed and his dark army, ending the Dark Warrior Program once and for all.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Good[]

  • He can act quite jerkish and lethal at times, to the point that his first line in the series is about him wanting to kill Praxis. He also has a tendency to slap Daxter even when he doesn't deserve it.
