Jade is a main character from the fighting game franchise, Mortal Kombat. She debuted in the second game, and is the best friend of Princess Kitana.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Her fatalities, while rather brutal, are likely painless due to sending the opponent into shock so they die with little suffering.
- Is one of the nicest and friendliest of the main characters in the series.
- She is loyal to Princess Kitana like a sister, even defecting to Earthrealm once the latter did and outright told Mileena that she was more of a sister to Kitana than her.
- Helped Sindel free Kitana from Onaga in the former's arcade ending in Mortal Kombat: Deception.
- Helped Shujinko defeat Onaga and save the realms from being destroyed by the resurrection of the one being.
- Although she was on Shao Kahn's side at the beginning of Mortal Kombat (2011), she was still very loyal to Kitana, and did everything to protect her.
- Although she tried to keep Kitana away from the "Pit of Flesh" on Shao Kahn's orders, she only did it because she knew that Kitana would get sick from it.
- She sincerely repented that she had let Kitana down, and that because of her loyalty to Shao Kang, her best friend was now sentenced to death, and after that she poisoned herself to save Kitana.
- Although she beat Smoke, she did it only because he attacked her first, and she even said she didn't want to do it.
- Together with Kitana, she joined the Earth Warriors to save the Earth from the invasion of the Outside World.
- She was in love with Kotal Khan, and was ready to do anything for him.
- Saved a Tarkatan tribe with innocent children from being executed by Kotal Kahn by standing up to him and his misguided bigotry.
- Aided in the fight against Kronika to save the universe and trillions of innocent lives from complete destruction.
- With the canonization of all timelines in MK11, she becomes a Keeper of Time like Liu Kang, and she brings peace to all the realms within her timeline. And as mentioned in MK1, she's still a Keeper of Time, which means that she still does good in her timeline
- Although she is a bit jerkish and sassy, it doesn't detract from her heroism.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- Fails the admirable standard to characters like Liu Kang and Cassie Cage.
- Can be lethal at times.
- Despite her welcoming and timid personality, there are times she's arrogant and crude to others such as D'Vorah and Johnny Cage.
