Jacob Stone is one of the main characters in The Librarians series. He is one of the Librarians, a native of Oklahoma, with an outstanding intellect (IQ 190) and deep knowledge of history, art and architecture. His background includes working on an oil rig.

In General[]
- He proved that he appreciates his friends and is ready to save them at any moment.
- Throughout the series, he and the other Librarians performed various heroic acts and defeated many villains.
- Over the years of research, he secretly received numerous doctorates and honorary degrees from universities around the world, hiding his achievements from his family, especially from his father, because he knew that his father would not praise him for it anyway, and would consider it a betrayal. Although Jacob later regretted it, he still decided not to put up with his father, who was rude to him anyway.
Season 1[]
- When the company founded by his great-grandfather was in danger of bankruptcy due to his father's extravagance, Jacob sacrificed his academic ambitions and gave up prestigious universities to save his family.
- Running the business proved difficult, especially given the constant financial problems caused by his father's behavior.
- After becoming a Librarian, he and his friends fought the Serpent Brotherhood to thwart their evil plans.
Season 2[]
- He and the other Librarians fought the evil wizard Prospero to stop his plans to enslave the world.
- He himself independently defeated the evil spirit shifter, who feeds on lies, and, with the help of his friends, sealed him back in his cell underground.
Season 3[]
- He and the other Librarians face the ancient Egyptian God of Chaos, Apep, who was about to unleash Pure Evil and create chaos in the world.
- He and Cassandra also defeat the Jotuns, preventing them from causing natural disasters that led to population collapse and epidemics.
- He becomes a student of the Monkey King, who he brings back to his mind after being brainwashed. Afterwards, the Monkey King awards Jacob with a power in the form of a tattoo.
- When Flynn was about to sacrifice his life to destroy Apep, Jacob, along with the other Librarians, sacrificed a portion of their power to depower Apep and save Flynn, after which Apep was defeated without Flynn's sacrifice.
Season 4[]
- He becomes a guide for a magical tree, and he meets a girl he falls in love with. He reluctantly decides to give up his love and his position as a guide, and he chooses to continue working at the Library.
- Nicole Noon (Flynn's first guardian) distorts reality, making it seem as if the Library never existed, and the world becomes a terrifying dystopia. Jacob, along with the other Librarians, believed Eve's words, and together they restored the Library and brought back the old world, as well as resurrecting Jenkins, who had been killed by Nicole.
