He is the King of Halloween Town that wanted to discover what Christmas was, and has proven to be selfless. He is the husband of Sally as well as the archenemy of Oogie Boogie.
He is a good role model for everyone in Halloween Town, and treats everyone fairly and with kindness.
Doesn't become hostile or aggressive over the town's obsessive nature over him.
After Zero died and went to Halloween Town, Jack took him in and got him off the streets.
When he asked Lock, Shock, and Barrel to kidnap Santa, Jack apologized in advance, and even asked the trio to not send Santa to Oogie, because Jack didn't want Santa to get tortured.
When the trio accidentally kidnapped the Easter Bunny by accident, Jack apologized and ordered the trio to return the Easter Bunny to his home.
When Sally accidentally pricked his finger as she sewed his Santa Claus outfit, Jack did not get mad at her.
When Santa and Sally were being tortured by Oogie, Jack risked his own life to save them, and he did successfully save them.
He apologized to Santa yet again for his mistakes.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
He has mischievous moments, such as asking Lock, Shock, and Barrel to kidnap Santa to take over Christmas and giving children around the world demonic toys.
He didn't listen to Sally when she tried to warn him about his plan failing and nearly ruined Christmas because of it.
