Jack is the tritagonist of Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2. He helps Jesse and Petra on their journey to the Sea Temple and defeat Romeo.

He was voiced by Fred Tatasciore.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]

He went around the world with his friends, Vos and Sammy until their deaths.
He felt remorse for the deaths of his friends, Vos and Sammy.
He is kind towards Nurm.
While he is initially hesitant to bring Jesse and Petra to the Sea Temple, (which would have resulted in Jesse being stuck with the gauntlet permanently) it's done with good intentions as he was implied to have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to the deaths of Vos and Sammy, and didn't want the duo to suffer similar fates.
After being convinced by Jesse and Petra, he regained he adventurous spirit and help them on their journey to the Sea Temple to find the Structure Block.
He shows no jealousy towards Jesse and the Order, despite also being an adventurer. He even trusts Jesse and Petra enough to go to the Sea Temple with him.
Though he doesn't really believe that the Admin exists at first, it was totally understandable as there was no proof if he did built the world or not.
While he did freeze on not soaking the water on the guardian, it was also understandable as he saw Sammy's Inventory near it and was mourning over it.
He was happy to see "Vos" (who was disguised as Romeo) again and hugged him.
He protects Nurm and "Vos" from the Prismarine Foes, even though it causes Jack to get his eye hurt (if you chose to save Petra).
If you choose you save Jack from the Prismarine Foes, he'll thank Jesse and congratulate him on his victory of saving the town. He'll even distract the Admin to buy Jesse some time to place the structure block.
He invites Petra to go adventuring with him, Nurm and Vos.
He never wanted for Jesse to get sad when he found out that Petra was leaving with him.
He goes with Jesse, Petra, Lukas, "Vos" and Radar to get the clock to save Beacontown.
He tells Nurm to stay in Beacontown as he doesn't want him to get hurt.
He was worried for Vos getting thrown into the water when he falls in.
He gives Jesse three diamonds to help make a Diamond Pickaxe.
If you choose Petra to smash the Clock, he will get scared for Jesse getting sent to prison. He'll even show concern for Petra becoming Romeo's champion. Even if Petra did attack Jesse, Jack will assure her that she has nothing to apologize for.
If you choose for Jack to get the clock, though he does attack Jesse, he only did this because Romeo forced him to. He and Jesse even attempt to attack him with their swords and will feel remorse for attacking Jesse, despite that it wasn't his fault.
He feels remorse for not realizing that Vos was actually Romeo.
He helps Jesse break Xara out of Jail.
While he doesn't seem to trust Xara at first for being an Admin once, his distrust was really justified, as he lost his fiends to Romeo who killed them. He also didn't know at first that there was a world under the Bedrock.
If Jesse leaves Lluna behind, he'll comfort Nurm when he was feeling guilty of her getting stuck in Xara's trap over him.
If Jesse leaves Nurm behind, he was determined to get him back no matter what and will apologize to Lluna for being a jerk towards her.
If Jesse accepts the deal, he'll give his sword to Porckchop as there was no other way to get saved.
He says behind in Fred's Keep to help Binta convince everyone.
He returns to the Oasis to help fight off the Enderman and get back to the Surface.
After returning to Beacontown, he takes Jesse and his friends to his place to gather weapons to defeat Romeo.
He helps Jesse and Petra break into Romeo's tower to get to the Primary Terminal.
He tells Lukas about how Romeo stole Vos' identity.
He holds Romeo off for Jesse to get the gauntlet to remove Romeo's powers.
Despite everything Romeo did, Jack was the only one willing to save Romeo from the Terminal, implying that he forgives him.
He was sad to see Petra leave Beacontown and doesn't say goodbye as it won't be the last time they'll see each other.
He'll support Jesse either way even if he goes adventuring with Petra or stays in Beacontown.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

He can be somewhat of a jerk at times. Especially when Jesse fails to save "Vos" in time even when it was impossible to do so, and when Jesse leaves Nurm behind instead of Lluna, he treats her harshly in Below the Bedrock even though it wasn't really her fault. However, Jack does realize his mistake and reconciles with Lluna later on, making this a minor prevention.
