Near Pure Good Hero Wiki

He killed my world! And who are you to tell what must or must not do? You're just a flawed version of my father who never even got to be happy! [...] I... It's just that... I just want to get back to my parents.
~ Isa's heroic breakdown as Astronaut defends the Major, also her heating up period

Isabel Pereira is the deuteragonist of the Astornaut Graphic Novels, a part of Mauricio de Sousa's Produções's series of graphic novels with Monica's Gang characters, the Graphic MSP. She is the tritagonist of Assimetry, the deutagonist of Entropy, Parallax and Convergence.

She is the daughter of Commander Astro and Rita, alternate realities of the main protagonist, Astronaut, and his stranded youth love interest, Rita. In her reality, Earth was attacked with gravity beams and rendered inhabitable for a while when she was born. This led to humanity to become a nomad race, going from planet to planet trying to find a new home, with Isa being trained since young as she was daughter of one of ICE's (Initiative for Spacial Colonization) agents. During a mission in Saturn, she and her family get trapped in another, similar, yet different reality, where she met the main protagonist, Astronaut.

Despite managing to get her family back to their universe (something that actually failed, as they were sent to Astronaut's universe, and she and Astronaut stayed in her universe) she got trapped with the main universe Astronaut, with they then starting a mission to find her parents and reunite them in their respective universe.

Her Good Ranking[]

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]

  • She helped her family scape Evil Astronaut in the past.
  • When the main Astronaut came looking for Commander's wife and daughter, she shocked him to the ground with a weapon to protect her mother.
  • Offered herself to help rescue her father.
  • When Astronaut asked who'd take care of her pregnant mother if she was killed alongside him, she reluctantly accepted to stay behind in the mission to rescue her father.
  • Saved Astronaut and her father from the Watchdog.
  • Fought the Watch dog for long enough so Astoanut brought her father to safety.
  • Started being nice to Astronaut, complimenting him on his skills, after they battled and defeated the Watchdog together.
  • Desperately tried to eject herself from the Titan suit to reunite with her parents when the drift between universes was closing.
  • She fixed a radio in Astronuat's ship, which led to them finding the Sargace.
  • Offered help to Astronaut when they entered in Sargace and he had to fight some robots.
  • Used the remaining computers of a broken terminal, discovering that there was still life in the ship-planet.
  • She went with the group enemy to the one who kidnapped Astronaut out of necessity and didn't want to abandon him.
  • Made friendship with the aliens and agreed to help them fight the other "tribe", the one who kidnapped Astronaut.
  • After Astronaut explained the whole situation, she agreed to help him expose the Captain as the one responsible for inciting all of the conflicts.
  • When the Captain's goons teamed up to kill her, Astornaut, Shie'r and the Insectoids, she defeated all of them with a magnetic machine.
  • She played the biggest role in saving everyone in Sargace from dying by turning the unstable core, that would explode because of what the Captain did, in an engine to take everybody out of the Sargace.
  • Finally considered Astronaut a friend, or more than that, family, hugging him and being happier to be with him until she found her parents.
  • She disassembled some of Astronaut's suits to enhance her own, which, despite not being with Astronaut's agreement, was for safety precautions, which Astronaut agreed was a good motive.
  • She and Horace prepared themselves to help Astronaut rescue whoever was sending the SOS message.
  • Cleaned up her mess she made with Astonaut's suits without complaining.
  • Helped Astronaut invade the Octahedron.
  • Attacked the Major in self-defense, and although he didn't show any hostile behaviour, it was just for precaution, and Astronaut agreed.
  • Offered Horace to help communicate with the Brain to get them to Earth.
  • Offered comfort to the Major on his lonlINess because of her own, before discovering he was the one who, accidentally, destroyed her homeworld.
  • She eventually came to understand, although not forgive, the Major, despite initially wanting him dead.
  • Was worried about Horace when he communicated with the Brain to take them to Astronaut's universe.
  • She helped fight Evil Astronaut and save main universe's Rita from him.
  • Before Evil Astornaut could scape, she shoot him to distract him.
  • Was overjoyed to see her brother was born.
  • Said goodbye in good terms with Astronaut, saying she'd visit him in the future if she could.

What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]

  • She is too lethal, wanting to throw the Major in space's void for causing humanity's downfall, even though it was completely unintentional, and he was already feeling suicidal remorse, and painfully shocking Astronaut multiple times, and, when he proved to be peaceful, asked her mother if she could shock him again.
  • Is often jerkish and constantly denies Astronaut's orders, although their relationship bettered a lot across the novels.

Trivia[]

  • She is the only Near Pure Good from any Astornaut related media not to be Astronaut/Bubbly himself.
