Irma Lair

Irma Lair is one of the main characters of the animated series W.I.T.C.H. She is one of the five new Guardians. Her element is a water.

She was voiced by Francesca Bielli in the original Italian and Candi Milo in the English dub.

She genuinely cares about her friends, as well as her parents and younger brother. And despite the banter towards Cornelia, she respects her as much as the rest of her friends.
She is one of their strongest Guardians, and her ability to control the water has often saved other Guardians from great danger.

She, along with Will, Cornelia, Hay Lin and Taranee, became a Guardian of the Veil to protect the world from various evil forces, Phobos being one of them.
She, like Hay Lin and Taranee, immediately became friends with Will, unlike Cornelia.
Saving Will her from being held hostage by Phobos along with Taranee and Hay Lin.
Together with the other Guardians, she helped Vathek find the key to absolve him of the blame for Caleb's release.
Although she and the other Guardians beat up Dean Collins, the history teacher, they did it because they thought he was Cedric, and then felt remorse for it.
She and the other Guardians defeated the Hunter when he made his way into the human world.
She and the other Guardians decided to buy Blank so that he wouldn't stink.
Defeating Phobos with the other Guardians, saving Elyon and preventing his tyrannical rule in Meridian in the process.

Together with the other Guardians, she began to confront the witch Nerissa in order to thwart her villainous plans.
Together with the other Guardians, she helped stage Elion's arrival to rid her of suspicion from the police.
She and Blank saved the other Guardians from being controlled by restoring their sanity.
Becoming remorseful for publicly insulting Martin, and apologizing to him for it.
Together with the other Guardians, she managed to bring back all the old Guardians whom Nerissa had brainwashed.
Defeating Nerissa with the other guardians, thus foiling her plan to enslave the universe.
Stopping Lord Cedric with the rest of W.I.T.C.H. and saving the universe from him as well.

She can be harsh at times, such as when she called Blank "worthless garbage" out of anger and frustration, and also insulted Martin for his constant desire for her. Although she mostly repents of these actions, she still does not completely get rid of this quality.
She also has moments of selfishness and being a jerk, like when she forced her friends to prepare a stage for her favorite artist only to take all the credit for herself, and also once using her abilities to force someone to give her all the candy.

She, Will Vandom and Cornelia Hale are the three W.I.T.C.H. heroes to be Near Pure Good.
