The Hotel Guest is the main protagonist of the Roblox horror game, A Night at the Hotel, more specifically being the main protagonist of Chapter 1 and the posthumous overarching protagonist of Chapter 2.
He was the beloved husband of Clarissa, who cheated on her with a woman he barely knew. After trying to forget about the whole situation he goes to a hotel and books room 45, despite the warning that said place was cursed and multiple deaths occurred there. He is confronted by the ghost of Harriet Carter, and has to face her, as well as his own demons, to escape. Eventually, however, he decides to kill himself and take the ghost with him by burning down the room, avenging the 22 victims of Carter, even if the plan wasn't completely successful.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He stayed stronger than the other victims of the 45 room ghost, as he didn't commit suicide, despite being seemingly aware of that because of the hallucinations.
- He keeps resisting the torment of the ghost against him.
- He acknowledged his mistake of cheating on his wife eventually.
- He heroically burned down the room with him inside to kill Carter and avenge her 22 victims. Even if it wasn't successful, the intention still counts, and he slowed down Carter's actions for some time.
- His actions impacted positively in Chapter 2 and the cancelled Chapter 3, culminating in the room being closed down and the curse, as well as the ghost, defeated for good.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He did cheat on his wife in a pretty jerkish way, and even initially wanted to avoid consequences and guilt. Even if he admitted it as a mistake, it is not shown that being jerkish or unloyalty can't still be a part of his personality.
