Historia Reiss, originally known as Krista Lenz, is a major character in the Attack on Titan franchise. She was an supporting character in the first half, but she later became an important character in the series, even becoming one of the two main protagonists (alongside Levi Ackerman) of the Royal Government arc, which follows her background and development.
Initially introduced as just a kind girl, who likes to help others, she is eventually revealed to be the illegitimate daughter of Rod Reiss, ruler of the humanity within the walls, making her the last remaining member of the Reiss royal family. She was also the best friend and love interest of Ymir.
She is voiced by Shiori Mikami in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Bryn Apprill in the English version of the anime.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Unlike most characters in the franchise, she is a geniunely good hearted person, who wants to help others and assist the Scouts in any way she can.
- She acts friendly to her fellow scouts, especially with Ymir, her best friend, and her sister, Freida Reiss.
- She saved Eren from giving up on his life.
- Upon regaining her power, she becomes the first monarch to give help to those of Interior's Underground city.
- She and her to be husband, opened an orphange that supported lots of orphaned children.
- She desperately tries to stop Eren's plan, even saying she wouldn't forgive herself if she didn't try, by trying to get him to see how not everyone outside of the island is an enemy, and in fact most of those who would die would be completely innocent people, comparing their deaths to that of Eren's mother.
- Despite initally having a baby to prevent herself from being turned into a Titan and being used in any political plan, she took responsibility for it, and married the man who had the baby with her.
- She helped hide Jean's family and Connie's mother from the Yeagerists.
- She welcomed the ambassadors of Marley in order to initiate peace negotiations and help rebuild the world after the rumbling, even if she had to put herself in danger to do so as major part of the population was still on Eren's side, supporitng the genocide of the rest of humanity.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- While one could argue she couldn't do anything, as Eren had forced her to help anyway, she still was completely quiet about his plan that ultimately was the cause of billions of deaths, though she does attempt to fix the world after the rumbling.
- She can be a control freak at times when exerting her political power as ruler within the walls.
