Hai Phượng is the main protagonist of the 2019 Vietnamese action movie, Furie (named Hai Phượng in the original language, which makes her the titular protagonist). She is an ex-gangster who wants to atone from her former life and become a better person, though she has to involve herself with the actions of the crime underworld when her daughter was kidnapped by the mass child-trafficker, Thanh Sói.
She was played by Veronica Ngô.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She seeked redemption form her past life as a gangster.
- She tries to raise her daughter Mai well, and far from the consequences of her former life.
- She called her daughter out on stealing a man's wallet.
- She apologizes when she discovers she was just trying to return it.
- Tries to save her daughter when she gets kidnapped.
- Spared Trực's life because of her mother. And while she did fight Trực, he was also threatening her in the process.
- Traveled all her way to Saigon to ask for help from the police.
- Begged Thanh’s her life in exchange of her daughter.
- While she threatened a nurse to scape officers, this was just an act to scape and she didn't intend on killing her.
- She defeated Thanh, ending her child trafficking operations for good.

- She has some lethality, as she did brutally beat Thanh's thugs. Even if they did threatened her, her response was very unnecessary, making it preventing.
