Goodstyle is the deuteragonist of the 2007 video game Wario: Master of Disguise. The eldest of the Cannoli family, he betrays his descendant and previous master Count Cannoli so Wario can take him and help him defeat Terrormisu.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?

• He saved the world from Terrormisu in the past by sealing her in the Wishstone and shattering it.
• Because he knew Terrormisu would return if the Wishstone was put together again, he was on the lookout for anybody who could possibly help him defeat her.
• He gives Wario the powers he needs to defeat Terrormisu.
• He is very loyal towards Wario and apologises for tricking him for the greater good. He shows willingness to send Wario back home and tries to send him the treasures he got even if it did fail. Even after his goal is taken care of, he continues to be loyal to Wario in the post-game episodes.
• Although it could be argued he fails the admirable standards to Wario because he was the one doing the most action, because he had to put on a disguise for the better good, Goodstyle has not had many chances to be heroic, and was ultimately the one who gave Wario the powers to defeat Terrormisu.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?

• Despite his good intentions, he still lets Wario steal from a museum and attack innocent people without remorse. However, this is only a minor prevention as the only humans he attacks (police officers) only flinch for a while before trying to attack Wario again.

• Goodstyle is one of many Mario video game characters who are considered Near Pure Good alongside Mallow, Bobby and Paper Luigi.
  • Of the three, he is the only one to come from the Wario sub-series.
