~ Ginormica during her battle against Gallaxhar, as she gets her Quantonium back |
Susan Murphy, better known as Ginormica is the main protagonist of DreamWorks's 2009 animated feature film, Monster vs. Aliens, and the Nickelodeon cartoon with the same name.
She was a regular woman before on the day of her wedding, she came in contact with an alien substance, Quantonium, which caused her to grow incredibly large. After this, she was taken away by a government faction dedicated to containing creatures like her that they dubbed "monsters". However, once the same alien who owned the substance now in Susan's body invades Earth, she and her monster friends are given a chance to achieve freedom by helping fight the invaders.
She is voiced by Reese Witherspoon in the movie and Riki Lindhome in the TV series.
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She attempted to calm the people in the wedding when she became giant.
- She asked to contact her parents, so they'd at least know how her stay at the facility is going.
- While initially creeped out by the monsters, it was an understandable reaction, and she quickly became friends with them after spending a little time with them.
- She agreed to fight the giant metal robot to gain her freedom.
- While using cars as roller bladers was a risky move, she didn't hurt anyone.
- She fought Gallaxhar's robot and held it back long enough for Cockroach to destroy it from inside out.
- She tried to get her parents to know her monster friends, as well as to give them their first normal connections outside of the facility.
- She fought Gallaxhar's second ship/robot and was enraged by Insectossaurus's death.
- Once she escaped Gallaxhar's imprisonment, she ran towards him, and while this may seem lethal, it was understandable since he seemingly killed Insectosaurus and endangered countless people to get the quantonium from her body.
- Not to mention, near the end of the movie, despite holding him at gunpoint, she decided to take the quantonium back and save her friends instead.
- She was happy to see her friends and helped their facade to infiltrate the ship.
- She fought Gallaxhar once again, even without her Quantonium, and managed to defeat him, saving Earth from him.
- She was happy she can finally be a part of society along with her friends.
- On Halloween, she defeated a mutated giant pumpkin, Wicked Jack, from endangering the city.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She has a vengeful moment of humiliating Derek at the end of the movie by flinging him hundreds of meters up in the sky while on live television, and while Derek was very jerkish, and she told B.O.B to break his fall, showing that she didn't intend to hurt him, her going out of her way to publicly humiliate him while saying she didn't want his fans to miss it instead of merely breaking up with him is too corrupting for PG.
