Gabu is a wolf and one of the two main protagonists of the Japanese novels Arashi no Yoru ni, also known as One Stormy Night.
On a stormy night, Gabu became friends with Mei but found out he is a goat; however, they have a lot in common. The two met each other in secret, however, when their respective kin's find out, the two decide to run away to side another forest with their new life.
He is voiced by Shidō Nakamura II in the Japanese dub while being voiced by Tustin Gilmer Macafee in the English dub.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- When Gabu see Mei is a goat, he briefly shocks and surprise but quickly got over it continue their lunch.
- He wants to keep secret between him and Mei so their clans know friend's goat and wolf.
- He searches for Mei knowing he in danger his wolf pack on Crumbling.
- He saved Mei from Barry by use the rock and ran safely in cave.
- After finding out friend with goat Gabu try to reason Giro and other he only friend Mei he not trying friend's other goats.
- While he agrees to be spy for his wolf pack, he can't do this no longer and decided to leave along with Mei started new life even means he be hunt down his former pack.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- While is good friends with Mei, he tried to eat him because of his animal instincts. For example, Mei heading home Gabu goes to eat him behind him before reforming himself, making him a little amoral.
- He tried to eat Mei by taking him to a new one where once the moon rose he would feast on him.
- Although this was actually because he lost his memory after the avalanche.
