Fredbear is a supporting protagonist of AIEchidna's Five Nights at Freddy's series, serving as a minor protagonist in Springlocked and the supporting tritagonist (alongside Jeremy Fitzgerald) of Finale.
The earliest version of Freddy, Fredbear is a caring and polite bear that tries anything he can to help anybody he can.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Pure Good?[]
- For the amount of screentime he gets (a chapter in both books), he shows himself amazingly, his heroism put up to a really good extent.
- Unlike Michael and Jeremy, who are both heroic but jerkish and vengeful, Fredbear has no grudge against anybody, not even Nightmare, who had trapped him in the nightmare.
- Unlike all the other animatronics, possessed or not, Fredbear is the only truly good animatronic, being an outlier from the murderous instincts of Freddy and friends.
- Traversed the Stage01 minigame and gave the cake to the child, allowing Jeremy and The Puppet to do their jobs within freeing Evan and the other spirits.
- He mentors Michael within Nightmare's mix of memories created for him, and encourages Michael with advice, which he later uses to help end Freddy's reign.
What Prevents Him Being Pure Good?[]
- It's really no surprise, but he fails the admirability standard to Michael and Tracy, in which the former had put an end to Freddy's tyrannical reign as well as stopped Springtrap from causing more harm, and the latter having defeated Death Incarnate.
Trivia[]
- Fredbear could be considered the foil to Freddy Fazbear, as both are the lead animatronic animals of their bands and the mascots of their pizzeria, but while Freddy is nothing but cruel, sinister, and pure evil, Fredbear is caring, wholesome, and a overall good being.
- Fredbear talks in a british accent.
- Fredbear can't curse, even if he wanted to. He usually resorts to words such as "fiend".
- He is the first version of Fredbear to be Near Pure Good.
- He is the first FNaF (AIEchidna) character to be Near Pure Good.
