| ~ Fix-It Felix, Jr.'s catchphrase. |
Fix-It Felix, Jr. or better known as just Fix-It Felix is the tritagonist of Disney's 52nd full-length animated feature film Wreck-It Ralph and a supporting character in its sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet.
He is the titular video game hero of the video game Fix-It Felix Jr. In it, Felix fixes every building in the video game's villain, Wreck-It Ralph wrecks.
He is voiced by Jack McBrayer.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- He is completely devoid of corrupting qualities through this entire franchise, while he did get angry at Ralph, that was merely a heating-up period and isn't corrupting. His anger towards Ralph was justified however as he was being reckless while game-jumping, which is taboo and frowned upon. Felix was also angry due to being treated like a criminal. Not to mention, in that same instance he almost immediately forgave Ralph after hearing him out and that he apologized.
- Being deeply naïve and optimistic to a fault that he appeared childish and unrealistic at times didn't count as corrupting qualities as not only such flaws were attributed to him being a product of his time, but also he outgrew them after coming to terms with reality of things in other games didn't work in the same way as his home game (ex. struggling to believe that Cy-Bugs's flawed programming made them more virus than typical game antagonists like Raplh until he both understood why Calhoun took the threat they posed seriously and witnessing the damage swarms of mechanical insects done at Sugar Rush) culminating to finally relate to Raplh's issues.
Wreck-It Ralph[]
- Despite being shown as oftentimes awkward around him, Felix was the only one in his game to not mistreat Ralph due to him being the "villain" of their game unlike the Nicelanders, who all judged him because of his role even though it was just his job.
- After Ralph shows up uninvited to the game's 30th anniversary party, Felix still tries to welcome him in and offers him to at least try out their cake before leaving, despite Gene and the Nicelanders' objections.
- He feels bad for Ralph when Gene tells him that only good guys win medals and that he was not a good guy, and reacts when Gene angrily slams Little Ralph back in the mud upside down.
- He comforts Mary when Ralph destroys her cake during his argument with Gene.
- He decides to join Calhoun on her dangerous mission to retrieve Ralph even after she warned him that he's unable to "regenerate" outside his game, stating that it's his job to fix whatever Ralph wrecks and wouldn't want someone else risking their life cleaning up his mess.
- He saved Calhoun from the Nesquik sand by having her to punch him in the face multiple times, this attracted the laughing vines and allowed them to escape.
- While he did trigger Calhoun's PTSD by calling her "dynamite gal", it was completely accidental as he was just complimenting her looks and appreciating her.
- Upon seeing Ralph again after he was locked up, he hugs him in relief, which further shows that, off the game, Felix did always care for him and saw him as a colleague, despite Ralph's constant tensions with the Nicelanders.
- Though he was initially against helping Ralph due to how his actions got him thrown in prison, once he heard the latter's perspective on what he goes through regularly due to being their game's villain, he helps him out Ralph by fixing Vanellope's kart so he could enter the race.
- Once Ralph went to the Diet Coke Hotsprings to create a beacon that would attract the Cy-Bugs, he entrusted Felix to look after Vanellope while he was forced to battle Turbo, even shouting her name in clear worry once she rushed to save him.
- He repaired the finish line so Vanellope could cross it and complete the race, which fixed all the damage Turbo caused in Sugar Rush and restored the memories of all its inhabitants to remember that Vanellope was a princess.
- Unlike Calhoun, he freaked out a little when Vanellope declared the other racers would be executed for bullying her, albeit she was only joking.
- It's implied in the end that he, alongside the other Nicelanders, began treating Ralph more nicely after the events of the film, although Felix already had a decent relationship with him to begin with.
Ralph Breaks the Internet[]
- He chose to adopt the Sugar Rush racers along with Calhoun when nobody else wanted to.
- Covered up for Ralph when he went to the Internet along with Vanellope.
- Managed to become a good parent along with Calhoun and made the racers a lot more kind hearted.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- While he has no corrupting factors and has done enough to stand out, he fails the admirable standards to both Ralph and Vanellope, who both were willing to sacrifice their lives in order to save both the entire arcade and the internet. Felix himself didn't have a large role in stopping the Cy-Bugs or Turbo, and also not didn't play a role in stopping Arthur either. However, he has lower resources than them, so this is a minor prevention.
Trivia[]
- He is one of the three Wreck-It-Ralph heroes to be Near Pure Good, alongside the titular character and his wife, Tamora Calhoun.
- Ironically, he and Ralph have opposite roles in Fix-It Felix Jr. where he is a hero while Ralph is a villain.
- This also makes Wreck-It Ralph the only original CGI Disney film from the 2010s to not have any Pure Good hero.
- It is highly likely that Fix-It Felix would've been Pure Good if it weren't for the second film's release, as he fails the admirable standards to Ralph and Vanellope due to Felix being less admirable in the second film. However, this may change if a new Ralph movie releases, then his status could change to PG if he does something very admirable.
