“ | We are one. One with the earth, the sky, the moon, the dragons and most importantly each other. Wars are a distant thing of the past. Dragons have no need to even use their powers. Our leader understands the most important lesson one can teach his people is the pursuit of knowledge, meditation and restraint. | „ |

“ | Lemme tell you, what you're really looking for is loyalty. A dragon who will be there for you no matter what. The last face you see at night and the first face you see in the morning. Warming your bed when it's cold outside, a shoulder to cry on when the world has turned its back on you. How could you not love a Gronckle? | „ |

“ | When I was a kid, I was never the best in battle training, and I was never the best in weapons testing, but that didn't matter to me, because I was an Ingerman. We were kind, caring, intelligent. Being an Ingerman stood for something. | „ |

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He doesn't always want to save Snotlout, only doing so when the other Dragon Riders told him to. An example is in "Snotlout's Angels" when he and the other Riders knew Snotlout was endanger in a violent storm. When Hiccup pointed it out Fishlegs just went back to eating and later sign when Hiccup ordered him (and the other riders) to save Snotlout from the violent storm.
- He blamed Hiccup for overworking the dragons, even though he and the other Dragon Riders were aware that the tiredness was caused by Grimora parasites. The dragons got infected because of Fishlegs and the other riders' desire to relax, not because of Hiccup's drive to keep working.
Trivia[]
- He was once approved as Pure Good but was rejected due to some moments where he acted jerkishly, and was approved as Near Pure Good.
