Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger! Can I take your order?
~ Ed's catchphrase.

Ed is the main protagonist of the Good Burger franchise.

He is portrayed by Kel Mitchell.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]

  • Ed is friendly and loyal to everyone around him.
  • He helps Dexter get a job at Good Burger after the latter gets fired from Mondo Burger.
  • He made his secret sauce to help Good Burger get back on business.
  • Ed bonds with Dexter and learns of what Dexter has been going through ever since his father left him and his mother when Dexter is only 7 years old.
  • Ed buys Dexter a glow-in-the-dark yo-yo, the same kind of yo-yo Dexter had as a little kid as a gift from his deadbeat father, as a token of their friendship.
  • Along with Dexter, Ed learns that triampothal is illegal and potentially poisonous.
  • After he, Dexter and Otis escapes from Demented Hills, he saves a customer at Good Burger from eating a poisoned burger after Kurt and his henchmen poisoned Ed's sauce with shark poison.
  • Ed pours all of the triampothal in Mondo Burger's meat supply to have Kurt and his employees arrested.
  • Ed saves countless lives of innocent customers from consuming Mondo Burger's poisonous food.
  • Despite his common faux pas, he overall lacks any negative demonstrations of malicious traits.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]

  • Due to his dimwitted and childish personality, he is fairly incompetent as a cashier and ends up annoying the customers with his stupidity. While it is largely played for laughs, it not only drives the customers away, it also causes Mr. Bailey to have very little patience with him.
  • His recklessness and obliviousness led to Dexter accidentally hitting his teacher Mr. Wheat's car. While this is unintentional on Ed's part and is mostly Dexter's fault, if Ed had been more aware of his surroundings, Dexter wouldn't have been in trouble with Mr. Wheat.
  • He has a mischievous moment when he chuckled when pouring the triampothal into the meat supply. However, he had no way of knowing that the meat would explode to the point of Mondo Burger collapsing as a result of the excessive triampothal on the meat supply, making it a minor prevention.
