Dr. Edgar George Zomboss is one of the main antagonists of Absolutionist's fanfic Plants vs. Zombies: Absolution Saga. He is the leader of the zombies, who attempted to defeat Terry and his plant team as well as one of Zack Lordxander's conspirators. He later remained as one of the secondary protagonists of the series, who tried to help the resistance fighting the threats of Negasolvius.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?

• Initially was a bad boss and a villain, Zomboss subverted these corrupting factors and chose to be a good person and a good leader for the zombies.
• Helped leading the Resistance to locate Zack and his allies.
• Defeated Star Blast, a mass rapist and killer, to avenge his dead zombie minions.
• Rejected himself to be corrupted like his alternate future counterpart.
• Alongside the Resistance, he helped defeating various crossover villains.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?

• Despite his redemption, he is still jerkish as he still insults people, and even if it's a prevention, it's minor and he still cared for his allies.
• Showed lethalness as he killed Star Blast, and even if the latter deserved it, it is still too preventing to be PG.

Trivia

• Since he is a Near Pure Good zombie, he served as a foil to Star Blast, a Near Pure Evil plant who committed horrendous atrocities including rape, unethical experimentations, and murder.
  • He can also be a foil for his alternate reality counterpart, who is much more abusive, tyrannical, and willingly destroy Neighborville out of spite which made him disgusted.
