Doreen is supporting character in the Brazilian comic book series, Monica's Gang, and its manga spin-off, Monica Teen. She is a blind girl who is member of the gang and wants to be a fashionist when she grows up. In the cartoons she is voiced by Sibele Toledo.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She supports equality, and never saw her blindness as something that makes her less or more special than anybody, and that people's differences are what make them people.
- Is kind and friendly to everybody, having an easy time to make friends.
- She tends to cease conflicts and arguments many times within the gang, being the voice of reason to them.
- She always tries to help her friends when they're going through something, being sad or frustrated, and succeeded most of the time.
- Lacks any corrupting qualities, such as mischievousness or arrogance, which are very common with characters from the series.
- In the Monica's Gang: An Adventure in Time animated movie, Doreen tries to pull a lever in Franklyn's time machine that would stop the time from cease existing and the world freezing, despite failing.
- She encouraged her friend Marina to fight against her insecurities and kiss her boyfriend, Franklyn, not only because she saw the love between them was real, but because that would break the curse Viviane cast on the gang.
- In Monica Teen, she saved the world from an alternate reality, dictator like version of her friend, Jimmy Five.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She fails the admirable standard of the series due to other characters who did heroic deeds such as saving the world more times than her, and even if she is blind, meaning less resources, the admirable standard is still too high, and all resources can do to help is allow her to be NPG.
Trivia[]
- She is similar to Luca, as both are disabled Monica's Gang characters, and both have dreams (becoming a fashionist for Doreen, and a professional basketball player for Luca). However, while Luca's deeds are standard, Doreen's are not, meaning he is a Heroic Benchmark, while she can be Near Pure Good.
