Deya the Deliverer is a major character in the Tales of Arcadia franchise, serving as a posthumous character in Trollhunters and a major protagonist in Wizards.
She was a troll kidnapped from her village and imprisoned by King Arthur who later befriends a time-traveling Jim Lake. Despite her initial insecurity and the trolls' mistrust of her, she was selected and eventually accepted Merlin’s amulet to become the first Trollhunter and would remain legendary after her death.
She was voiced by Stephanie Beatriz.
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She carries an injured Jim to safety away from Camelot.
- She saves Jim from being killed by an arrow.
- She is the first troll to believe that mutual coexistence with humanity is possible.
- She defeats AAARRRGGHH!!! (back when he was a villain), thereby saving the entire Dwoza Tribe from death.
- She helps convince the Dwoza Tribe to not kill or torture AAARRRGGHH!!!.
- She takes Jim to Vendel to remove the shard that is corrupting him and even gives him a bone to brace the pain.
- She turns the tide of the Battle of Killahead Bridge by rallying the entire Dwoza Tribe to aid the humans.
- She saves Jim and Steve from a Gumm-Gumm.
- She defeats Bellroc and forces her to retreat.
- She uses the Amulet of Daylight to power Killahead Bridge and open a portal to the Darklands, banishing Gunmar and the Gumm-Gumms, thereby saving both humanity and the good trolls.
- Although she kills numerous Gumm Gumms during the Battle of Killahead Bridge, it was during wartime and in self-defense, making it not corruptive at all.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- There is a scene where she throws a rock at a knight just because she wants to and smiles afterward, making her a little mischievous. However, the scene is very minor and before most of her heroic acts, making it a very small prevention.
