Derek Howls is the main protagonist of a Gacha sci-fi horror movie, Afterlife Order.

He is an orphaned wolf teenager in Sharon City after losing his parents due to a major sickness that happened many years ago and became a student before becoming a heroic protector who saved Sharon City from being destroyed by the Pollution Kraken.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?

• While he did lose his parents and distraught by it, he never became vengeful or wrathful, instead becoming a kind teenager unlike his archenemy.
• Saved Ashie and even took her to his apartment to protect her. While he did try to bring her back home however, he immediately subverted this after realizing her "home" was a bad place.
• Stopped Mayor Walker from releasing the Pollution Kraken as well defeating him.
• After the Pollution Kraken was released and seemingly losing, he did not stop and continue to try to save Sharon City.
• After Ashie gave him the sword of Afterlife, he used this to defeat Mayor Walker's monster form and weakening him.
• Saved Sharon City after defeating the Pollution Kraken along with Ashie whom she sacrifices herself for it.
• After the death of Ashie, he promises to protect Sharon City at all costs.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?

• He is shown to be lethal towards Mayor Walker and the Polluted Ones, killing them without remorse. While Mayor Walker did deserve it, this is still a prevention although not a very major one.
