Davos Seaworth is a supporting protagonist in both the A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels and the television adaptation Game of the Thrones. A former smuggler turned knight, he is very loyal and kind, and dedicated his King, Stannis Baratheon. Later in the series Stannis names him his hand. After Stannis' death he became an important advisor for King Jon Snow.
He was portrayed by Liam Cunningham.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Smuggled food to Stannis and his soldiers during the Siege of Storm's End, saving their lives.
- Loves Princess Shireen and acted like she was his daughter.
- When Cressen wanted to poison Melisandre he tries to stop him.
- Warning Stannis from Melisandre and try to convince him to give peace with Renly or Robb Stark for victory over the Lannisters.
- Warned his son to stay away from the ship wildfire, but too late.
- After he survived, he happily returned to continue serving Stannis.
- Tries to protect Stannis from the influence of the Red Priestess Melisandre, effectively serving as the angel on his shoulder.
- Saved Gendry's/Edric Storm's life from been sacrificed.
- Tried to stop Axell Florent sacrificed.
- Called out Ser Jared Frey for lying about the Red Wedding.
- Warned Stannis about the wildings attacking Castle Black, effectively helping him save the Night's Watch.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He became extremely hostile to Melisandre even though she turned good and tried to kill her for sacrificing Princess Shireen (and almost did it in the past). Although his motives are understandable, he couldn't forgive her in the same way that he forgave Tyrion and Bronn with whom he agreed to sit on the small council, even though they killed his son.
- He is responsible for Renly's death, and he has not apologized for it, even when Brienne of Tarth informs that Stannis' men helped it.
