Davos Seaworth is a supporting protagonist in both the A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels and the television adaptation Game of the Thrones. A former smuggler turned knight, he is very loyal and kind, and dedicated his King, Stannis Baratheon. Later in the series Stannis names him his hand. After Stannis' death he became an important advisor for King Jon Snow.
He was portrayed by Liam Cunningham.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Smuggled food to Stannis and his soldiers during the Siege of Storm's End, saving their lives.
- Loves Princess Shireen and acted like she was his daughter.
- When Cressen wanted to poison Melisandre he tries to stop him.
- Warning Stannis from Melisandre and try to convince him to give peace with Renly or Robb Stark for victory over the Lannisters.
- Warned his son to stay away from the ship wildfire, but too late.
- After he survived, he happily returned to continue serving Stannis.
- Tries to protect Stannis from the influence of the Red Priestess Melisandre, effectively serving as the angel on his shoulder.
- Saved Gendry's/Edric Storm's life from been sacrificed.
- Tried to stop Axell Florent sacrificed.
- Called out Ser Jared Frey for lying about the Red Wedding.
- Warned Stannis about the wildings attacking Castle Black, effectively helping him save the Night's Watch.
- Mourned for all of Stannis's family.
- Tried to stay with Stannis even when he was going to lose in the battle against the Boltons (but Stannis send him back).
- In the novels, he is on a mission by Lords Wyman Manderly and Robett Glover to rescue Rickon Stark from Skagos to restore the Starks as rulers of the North, in exchange for supporting Stannis as their king.
- Pleaded to Melisandre to bring back Jon from the death.
- Helped the Stark army against the Boltons during the Battle of the Bastards.
- March South with Jon to meet Daenerys, even they have been warned that it might be a trap.
- Helped bring Gendry to the North to fight the darkness.
- Took control during the war against the Wights.
- Marched with Jon and they men to help Daenerys in the war against Cersei.
- After Daenerys begins incinerating all of King's Landing, he helps Jon to evacuate the crowd from the city.
- Stopped a conflict between Jon against Gray Worm.
- Help to vote Bran Stark as the rightful king.
- Set as lord beside some of his formerly enemies like Tyrion Lannister and Bronn, who kill him son.
- Despite his inability to fight, he is a very brave man that routinely risks his life in multiple wars.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He became extremely hostile to Melisandre even though she turned good and tried to kill her for sacrificing Princess Shireen (and almost did it in the past). Although his motives are understandable, he couldn't forgive her in the same way that he forgave Tyrion and Bronn with whom he agreed to sit on the small council, even though they killed his son.
- He is responsible for Renly's death, and he has not apologized for it, even when Brienne of Tarth informs that Stannis' men helped it.
