His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- When he was a kid, he was inspired by the Darkwing Duck cartoon to help others and give them hope.
- His main reason for becoming Darkwing Duck in a movie was to try and inspire others to do good like he was as a kid.
- He put his fanboyism toward Jim Starling aside to stop him from causing any more damage to the studio and endangering its members.
- Despite going against him at first, Drake showed no spite toward Launchpad and went on to become his ally.
- Despite being rude toward him, Drake still idolized Jim Starling and was nice toward him.
- Although he did beat up the movers, this was an accident and he did make it up to them by helping with their job.
- He tried to comfort Gosalyn about her grandfather and called out Bulba for lying about it.
- He successfully saved Gosalyn from Bulba.
- He spent hours trying to find Gosalyn's grandfather, losing sleep in the process.
- He chose to try and take down Taurus Bulba alone, not wanting to risk the lives of Gosalyn or Launchpad.
- Attempted to save reality by shutting down the Ramrod.
- He helped the Ducks in their raid on F.O.W.L. to save Webby and Huey.
- He, along with Gizmoduck, helped Launchpad by saying that he helped inspired many people to become a hero, including himself.
- After escaping confinement, he and the other prisoners hurried to the Duck family’s aid.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- While he does lack the corrupting factors of his original counterpart, he still happens to be arrogant since Darkwing has a slight ego, as shown by his needless rivalry with Gizmoduck and his need to be "superior" to him.
Trivia[]
- He, along with Gosalyn Waddlemeyer, Lena Sabrewing and Lieutenant Penumbra are one of four DuckTales reboot Near Pure Goods to not be part of the McDuck Family.
- While he's Near Pure Good so far, it's unknown if he will still have this status in his upcoming series.
- Only his reboot version is Near Pure Good, as his original version had too many corrupting factors.
