Near Pure Good Hero Wiki

Yami Yugi is the deuteragonist of the Yu-Gi-Oh! made by Toei Animations.

Unlike his newer counterpart, he's an alter ego of Yugi who was made after the latter wishes to have friends in his life. He usually fights villains by making them play his Dark Games and punishes them if they lose or cheat.

  • He willingly played a game with Shaddin to save Anzu from being held hostage. During the game, he can't bring himself to harm "Jonouchi" even though the latter is an illusion.
  • He saved Anzu from a creepy monster figure collector.

    • He did all that while he was injured (from Kokurano) as Anzu silenty noted.
  • He saved people from the terrorist attack at the amusement park by giving the terrorist an illusion of an active bomb around him.
  • He vows to Kaiba's kind hearted butler, Daimon, that he will redeem Kaiba.
  • He saved Sugoroku when he got captured by Kaiba in Death-T game and later did the same for Mokuba when Kaiba punishes his own brother for losing.
  • After defeating Kaiba in Death-T, Dark Yugi mind crushes Kaiba and reassures Mokuba that Kaiba will become a better person once he recovers.
