Dareth is a major character in the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu series.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- Even though he was originally an arrogant slob who believed himself to be the greatest fighter in Ninjago, as the seasons passed, he slowly lost all these traits and became humbler. By the time of Hunted, he doesn't even take credit for his actions as the Brown Ninja anymore.
- He has been a very important member of the team on several occasions and despite being a dimwit, he has true noble intentions and wants to help defeat the Ninja's enemies.
- By the time of Possession, the Ninja trusted him enough to give him the Prototype X-1 and used him as inspiration to create the autopilot in the Destiny's Bounty.
- Even though, he's constantly played for comedy, it doesn't paint him as a total clown as he is still shown to be a skilled fighter and someone who takes the threats to Ninjago seriously.
- Despite the high admirable standard, Dareth stands out for taking command of the Stone Army which took out one of the Ninja's biggest challenges during the Overlord's reign and helping lead the Ninja to victory against the Overlord by using the Stone Army to attack and distract the Corrupted Nya while the Ninja got Lloyd to the Overlord, saving all of Ninjago from being consumed by darkness. Not to mention his lack of resources compared to the Ninja, Elemental Masters, and even Ronin has more than him.
Legacy Of The Green Ninja[]
- He opened a fighting Dojo where he taught young children different fighting styles so they could learn to fight and defend themselves.
- When the Ninja were looking for a place to train Lloyd in, Dareth allowed them to train at his Mojo Dojo for free and was impressed by Kai's demonstration of Spinjitzu.
- Even though he kept trying to prove himself stronger than the Ninja, he later apologized for his behavior, becoming good friends with the Ninja.
- When Captain Soto and his pirates attacked the city, he jumped into their ship and tried to fight them before being subdued.
- During the Ninjaball Run, he gave a speech about the importance of the Dojo which caused the crowd to cheer for the Ninja and motivated Lloyd to win, which ultimately led to the Ninja reclaiming the Bounty from Lord Garmadon.
- When the Stone Warriors began to attack Ninjago and one entered the Dojo, he jumped in between him and his students, ordering all of them to run while he stayed behind to try and fight the Stone Warriors.
- When General Kozu entered the Dojo, he and his students attacked and overwhelmed him.
- When the Overlord arrived in Ninjago, he tried to stand up to him and force him to leave.
- He was the only one who survived the Overlord's corruption and cheered when he saw Lloyd return on the Golden Mech.
- He found the Overlord's helmet and put it on which neutralized the Stone Army. Though he was unaware of this at first, after Wu informed him, he used it to order the Stone Warriors to stop attacking the Ninja.
- He rode the Ultra Dragon to the Overlord's fortress where the Ninja accepted him as one of their own, He then used Kai's Elemental blade to give the Ninja's battle cry and order the Stone Warriors to attack the Overlord.
Rebooted[]
- After the defeat of the Overlord, he joined the Ninja officially and resided with them at the Ninja Academy they founded.
- While the Ninja left the academy to fight the Golden Master, Dareth remained behind to take care of the children.
- When Pythor caused a blackout and later released the sea creatures in the Ninjago aquarium where Dareth was with the students, he got them all to safety and stopped a shark from attacking them.
- He attended Zane's funeral after he sacrificed himself to defeat the Golden Master.
Tournament of Elements[]
- When he found out from Nya that the Ninja were missing, he joined her undercover in a D.B. Express truck to go search for their friends in Chen's Island.
- When Nya was preparing to infiltrate Chen's temple, Dareth disguised her as a kabuki which allowed her to go by unnoticed and find the rest of the Ninja and Garmadon, whom Dareth greeted through the communication device.
- Upon being found by Chen's forces, he tried to flee in the DBX before being caught by Eyezor.
- Upon being taken to Chen's factory and reuniting with Cole and the rebuilt Zane, he began trying to make a machine to make Puffy Potstickers, which inspired the plan to make the Roto Jet which allowed all the prisoners to blast their way out of the factory.
- He assisted in the escape of the Elemental Masters in the Roto Jet.
- He reminded Kai that the Ninja had taken an oath never leave a man behind while they returned to New Ninjago from Chen's Island.
- He fought in the final battle at the Corridor of Elders to prevent the Anacondrai Cultists from advancing to Ninjago.
Skybound[]
- Upon spotting the Ninja hiding from paparazzi behind a billboard, he picked them up and gave them a ride to Stiix.
- After the Ninja were imprisoned in Kryptarium, he baked a cake for them with the tools to escape inside, though Cole ate it.
- He informed the Ninja that Nadhakhan had stolen the Realm Crystal.
- He gathered the Ninja and their allies in his production studio so they could strategize a proper plan to fight back against Nadhakhan, even asking professional directors for help. He later helped the Ninja prepare.
- He joined Jay's Ninja Substitute Team.
- He tried to chase after Bucko and Squiffy after finding them spying on the team's conversation.
- He fought the Sky Pirates and bought enough time for Jay to free the Ninja from Nadhakhan's blade.
- He tried to go with the Ninja to save Nya before Ronin stopped him and convinced him to return to Ninjago to help evacuate civilians and prepare for the worst.
- When the timeline was restored, he and the others were touched by Jay and Nya finally becoming a couple.
Day of the Departed/Hands of Time[]
- He set up the Royal Blacksmith's concert during Day of the Departed.
- When the resurrected Kozu attacked him, Dareth used the Helmet of Shadows to retake control of the Stone Warriors and use them to send Kozu back to the Departed Realm before apologizing to Dr. Saunders for the damage done to the museum.
- He and the rest of the Ninja released lanterns in the newly built Temple of Airjitzu to honor the deceased.
- He helped the Ninja move to the Temple.
- When the Vermillion attacked, he tried to fight back but was quickly defeated and thrown back.
- He and Ronin go to the temple to warn the Ninja of the Vermillion attacks.
- He and Ronin tried to face the Vermillion before Dareth accidentally broke Ronin's leg.
- He carried Ronin to safety and apologized for injuring him.
Sons of Garmadon[]
- At some point he established Laughy's so that he could remember the glory days with the Ninja.
- After the Sons of Garmadon took over his bar, he remained civil and tried to keep them from hurting other visitors.
- When Cole and Zane infiltrated the Sons of Garmadon, he informed them about Mr. E and Ultra Violet.
- After the Sons of Garmadon were imprisioned, he and the ninja celebrated at Laughy's.
- After Lord Garmadon's return, he escorted Misako and the Toddler Wu to his apartment so they could hide in a safe place.
Hunted[]
- He joined the Resistance after Garmadon became Emperor of Ninjago.
- He scouted for resources and food to bring back to the others before being caught by the Sons of Garmadon. Despite having lost the food, he still gave Lloyd a Puffy Potsticker claiming that he needed to remain strong and healthy.
- He assisted in trying to escape the SoG with Lloyd before finding the remains of the Destiny's Bounty.
- When Killow and Mr. E arrive leading more motorists, he tries to hold them off before being saved by Karlof.
- He was later a part of the practice fights, taking on Karlof.
- He apologized to Lloyd for letting him down in the practice fights which actually motivated him to find his voice and become the leader of the Resistance.
- Feeling left out and useless compared to the Elemental Masters, he asked Mystaké to make a potion that could give him elemental powers of his own so that he could contribute more to the fight.
- Upon discovering the SoG surrounding the Ressistance's hideout, he hurries inside and warns the others.
- He tried to use his "Brown" powers to fight and ended up being among the few who escaped with Nya, Lloyd, Mystaké and Skylor.
- He accidentally knocked a rider with dynamite off the vehicle when he opened the hatch door.
- He and the other escapees took out the Sons of Garmadon and captured Harumi.
- He guarded Harumi and made sure she couldn't escape. When Harumi offered to give him more power than he could hope to have, he simply put her gag back on.
- He and Lloyd saved Nya from Ultra Violet by running her over, which also destroyed the Mask of Hatred.
- He and the others tried to fight off the bikers before the other Ninja returned from the Realm of Oni and Dragons.
- After Lloyd told Wu of Mystaké's death, Dareth inspired everyone to honor her memory by continuing to fight and giving Lloyd his katana, which encouraged him to fight on.
- He saved Gayle Gossip and Vinny from being attacked by a group of bikers.
March of the Oni - Seabound[]
- He and Kai tried to help Jay figure out how to propose to Nya.
- When the Firstbourne crashed into the monastery, he and the others ran to her aid, and they brought her to the monastery so she could heal.
- He and several others visited the monastery to celebrate the Oni's defeat.
- Upon finding Zane investigating Prime Empire, he correctly guessed Zane needed help and tried to do so.
- When a fight broke out in Laughy's, he tried to help Zane and P.I.X.A.L. before being knocked out by a chair.
- When Kalmaar unleashed a tsunami on Ninjago, Dareth saved everyone on the Tour Bus he was in by getting them down to its first level and shutting the trap door.
- When Jay arrived in his sub-car, he had everyone else evacuate before him, which got him hit by a car and carried down by the current.
- After Nya merged with the Endless Sea, he attended her memorial.
Crystalized[]
- At some point he took law classes and became a lawyer, which helped the Ninja during the season.
- Though the judge convicted the Ninja to a life sentence, Dareth gave a speech about how many times the Ninja had saved the city and nearly convinced the judge to set them free. Though he failed, he at least managed to get the judge to reduce their life sentence to five years, and even after that he still tried to get the judge to issue a less harsh punishment.
- Dareth's speech also won over the citizens of Ninjago to the Ninja's side.
- He and Skylor visited the ninja in prison to inform them of a plan Dareth had strategized to get them out.
- He intercepted the prison bus transporting the Ninja by pretending to be an old man whose vehicle had broken down in the middle of the road. This gave Nya enough time to release the Ninja and Fugi-Dove.
- When the police officers realized what had happened and tried to chase after the ninja, he caused their engines to fail by getting the police cars to turn over a giant rock.
- He complimented Sally on her song. He later told her to not give up on her dreams before leaving with Kai and Zane.
- He and the Ninja made a plan to infiltrate the Crystal King's council by using the Mechanic's invitation.
- When Houndog McBrag cornered them and Fugi-Dove distracted him, Dareth stole one of the police cars to drive the Ninja back to the city.
- He joined the new Resistance in the final battle against the Crystal King and his army. He was one of the few that lasted until the very end without being turned into Crystal Zombies and managed to destroy several Crystal Warriors with Wu.
- His and the others presence motivated Kai, Jay, Zane and Cole, to achieve Dragon Form.
- He assisted in rebuilding the monastery and was the one who rallied all of the Ninja's past allies to come help in the process.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- His stupidity and dimwitted behavior can cause trouble at times as during the Stone Warriors' attack on Ninjago he knocked into Misako and caused her to lose her research scrolls, and blasting his music from the DBX's speakers which caused Chen's forces to locate and capture him.
- He has some jerkish moments such as asking Nya to help young girls learn to use makeup and asking what else she's good for, and not helping Ronin move the Ninja's stuff because of a "sore back".

- Like many other characters, his fate after the merge is unknown and his current whereabouts have not yet been revealed.
