Daphne Anne Blake is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Fred Jones and Velma Dinkley) of the Scooby-Doo franchise.
She is a member of the Mystery Inc. and a friend of Fred Jones, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rogers, and Scooby-Doo. Her usual look consists of a purple dress, pink tights, purple shoes and a green scarf. Throughout the various incarnations of the character, it has been suggested that Daphne and Fred have feelings for each other.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She always helps her friends solve various crimes and catch criminals. And although she may not be the smartest of the characters, she still knows a lot of detective techniques, which often helped in solving crimes.
- She has repeatedly proved that she sincerely values her friends and is always ready to help them in difficult times.
- Although she was an ordinary girl in trouble at first, she later became a karate expertise and this skill later allowed her to repeatedly save her friends from danger, help superheroes like Batman fight off against supervillains like the Joker, and perform as stunt doubles for various actresses like Sandy Duncan.
- She became a famous reporter after she and her friends managed to expose many criminals.
- She and her friends went to the island of the dead to uncover the mystery of the living dead, which at first everyone considered fiction.
- She and her friends exposed Simone, Lena, and Jacques as werecats who sucked the life force out of innocent people, and then she and her friends confronted them.
- She and Velma made Lena and Simone dolls, thereby controlling them to prevent them from attacking them and taking away their life forces.
- She and her friends defeated Simone, Lena, and Jacques, thereby preventing their numerous murders of innocents and condemning all the souls of their victims to eternal rest.
- She impressed Miss Mirimoto with her karate skills by sparring with Miymui and despite losing the match against the latter, she didn't get mad at her.
- She and her friends tried to stop Miss Mirimoto from resurrecting the Black Samurai.
- She took part in defeating the giant Mr. Hyde robot, shooting him with posters and thereby preventing him from destroying the city.
- As it turned out later, she is in love with Fred and later they confessed their feelings for each other.
- She and Velma helped Batgirl, Black Canary, and the Huntress stop the Penguin from destroying Gotham City with giant robotic mythological birds.
- She felt guilty when all the knights she fought got severely injured by her.
- She posed as Batgirl when the latter got a skin rash from Poison Ivy.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She sometimes has jerkish moments. For example, when she really wanted to buy plush toys, she pushed everyone in line and even forcibly took this toy from one of the customers, threatening to hurt the person, but she doesn't have these moments very often, so it is a minor prevention.
