Dan Kuso is the main protagonist of the anime series, Bakugan.
He is a young and bright eyed kid who loves Bakugan, and aims to be the greatest Bakugan brawler in the world. He competes along with his childhood friend Shun, who once was Player Number 1. His Bakugan is Drago, the Dragonoid.
He is voiced by Yū Kobayashi in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Scott McCord on the English version of the anime.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He defeated Naga and saved Earth from him.
- He, despite having hot headed moments, is shown to be a nice individual when interacting with others.
- He managed to bring two planets who've had been at war for years to achieve peace by defeating Barodius.
- He also prevented Barodius's mutated form, Mag Mel, fom destroying the universe.
- He, despite loving being a fighter, don't really like seeing people getting hurt despite is his enemy, as shown when he feels bad for Anubias. Which is why he opts to redeem villains, such as Spectra Phantom and Ren Krawler, at times.
- When given the chance to become ruler of Bakugan, he turned it down, as he didn't want power, subverting his selfish behavior from the start of the series.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- While he toned it down as the series kept going, he can still be arrogant and self-absorbed.
- He can get overly wrathful at times, leading to him hurting people or making bad choices.
