What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She fails the in-story standards to plenty of other heroes in the series, as they have done way more admirable deeds with relatively equal or fewer resources. Some examples include:
- Jim, who didn't have any powers after losing the Amulet and still decided to take the mantle of wielding Excalibur, using it to slay Bellroc and stop her from destroying the universe.
- Toby, who helped Jim stop Bellroc from destroying the universe by using a Trifurcate Radiation Blaster against her to make her powerless.
- AAARRRGGHH!!!, who was under the service of Usurna and Gunmar and only killed people due to having only known a life of brutality at the time, saved Toby from Bular because Toby's life meant more to him than his pacifistic oath, and even felt saddened by Usurna drowning to her death, despite learning that she sold him out to Gunmar as a child to make him a formidable soldier.
- Aja, who, alongside her brother Krel, stopped Morando from remaking the universe with Gaylen's Core, by using Seklos' Cannon to destroy him even though she had no magic, and arguably had fewer resources than Claire at the time as Aja didn't become the Queen of Akiridion-5 yet.
- Kanjigar the Courageous, who was never shown to have ever killed anyone as a Trollhunter and merely wanted Gunmar to remain trapped in the Darklands, and prevented the universe's destruction for centuries by creating the Deep to house Gaylen's Core so no one can get to it.
- Deya the Deliverer, who was just an ordinary troll yet still accepted her mantle as the first Trollhunter and was the one who banished Gunmar to the Darklands.
- She has multiple moments where she is shown to act highly arrogant:
- She breaks into Jim's house without even asking him for his permission just because he was keeping secrets from her, even though she was just a girl in school who didn't know much about him, as she felt she had a right to know what he's hiding. It gets to the point where one of her friends calls her "pathological" when Claire calls her, and she has no regret for this act whatsoever.
- She encouraged and convinced Jim to betray his deal with Angor Rot and try to use the Inferna Copula to control him instead.
- She makes Toby and Blinky go along with her plan that they would pretend that they would accept Jim is going to be trapped in the Darklands, and support Usurna's decision to dump the pieces of Killahead Bridge into the ocean in a shipping crate. While she does counter Usurna's plan by using a shadow portal to get the Killahead pieces back on land, it still doesn't change that she thought her idea was better than Toby and Blinky's.
- She decided for the rest of the Guardians of Arcadia that if Bellroc and Skrael want to get Nari back, they'll have to fight all of them, despite the fact that it wasn't a group decision and she didn't even ask for the other Guardians' opinion.
- She orders Archie to remember their plan, even though she isn't his boss and is just another member of the team.
- She tells Jim and Douxie, in a snarky tone, that she knows how to get Nari over to Arcadia National Park where Skrael is.
- She acted as a bit of a jerk towards Steve and Merlin, such as giving Steve an emotionless hello when she meets him again and telling him that his problems didn't matter, and angrily calling Merlin an old man when he thought of staying in Hex Tech to protect Nari instead of saving Jim, although the latter moment is minimally understandable.
- She immediately assumed that the "Dark Queen" that the Knight of Skulls was referring to was Morgana instead of asking him who he was referring to. Later on, she decides to sneak up into King Arthur's tournament and violently attacks the Knight of Skulls while demanding to know where Morgana is, despite magic being forbidden in the tournament, and despite learning that the Knight of Skulls is really referring to Queen Sophia of the Dark Isles, she never apologizes to him for this.
