Claire Dearing is the deuteragonist of the Jurassic World trilogy. She initially worked as the operations manager of "Jurassic World" park in Isla Nublar. After the fourth film, she formed and became the leader of "the Dinosaur Protection Group" (DPG), a non-for profit organization that tries to protect, preserve and advocate for dinosaurs' rights.
She is portrayed by Bryce Dallas Howard.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- While Claire isn't as admirable as Owen, the latter is more of a man of action in the field due to his training, meaning that comparing the two isn't completely fair.
- She treats her manager and her employees with respect.
- Give to Owen to look about the Indominus paddock, even in this time she didn't like him.
- When Owen though the Indominus escaped, she drove to the control room and urged the three men who were in its cage to get out.
- When she sees a dead Aptosaurus because of the Indominus's murder for sport she was sorry when she agreed to his creation and from beginning, she didn't want to hurt the dinosaurs.
- She helps track down her two nephews alongside Owen.
- She saves Owen from a Pterosaurs that nearly kills him.
- After she unites with her nephews, she vows to stay by their side.
- She drove in a truck after Owen to lead the attack on the Indominue Rex. She also prevented her nephews from witnessing this.
- She got Lowery to open the Tyranosaurus paddock, which lead to the Indominus's defeat, saving many people and dinosaurs' lives.
- After the park was closed, she founded and lead "the Dinosaur Protection Group" so they could save all the remaining dinosaurs on the island from an active volcano and encouraged Congress to approve the initiative.
- Answered Benjamin Lockwood's call to save the dinosaurs and convinced Owen to help her on this project (while it turned out to be a trap, she didn't know this at the time).
- She helps Franklin Webb escape from a locked lab when a Baryonyx is chasing them.
- She tries to help Owen get into a Gyrosphere to escape from a Carnotaurus.
- She helps Owen and Franklin secretly get into the ship on a jeep.

- Upon noticing a road, she and Owen planned to inform law enforcement in a nearby town of the dinosaur auction, only to be caught by Wheatley’s men.
- She protects Maisie from the Indoraptor in the museum, immediately rushes to her and orders Owen to protect Maisie after he chases after her, even getting hurt in the process.
- She thought about freeing all the dinosaurs, but regrettably decided to leave them to die due to coming to the conclusion that letting them roam the mainland with humans would be disastrous due to not being able to properly coexist with people.
- Beside Owen she adopts Maisie and keep her protected from anyone who may come searching for her.
- Alongside Owen, she keeps her adopted daughter Maisie hidden from anyone who might harm her to keep her safe.
- She flies with Owen to Malta to locate Maisie with the help of Barry.
- Saves mercenaries from Atrociraptor by knocking him down.
- She convinces the pilot Kayla to save Maisie and help to saving Owen from one Atrociraptor.
- She frees Grant, Sattler, Maisie, and Malcolm from a tilted car.
- She helps the group defend themselves against Giganotosaurus and include tasers him for saving Owen.
- He, Maisie, and Grant return to the sanctuary to rescue Beta, and throughout the remainder of the Biosyn scenes on Biosyn, he carries a tranquilized Beta on his shoulder.
- Along Sattler she helps restore power to the system so they can leave safely, indirectly causing Lewis Dodgson's death as well. The act also endangered her from the burning grasshoppers.
- She allows Henry Wu to escape the sanctuary with them and destroy the locusts.
- She keeps Maisie protected while they're caught up in Rexy and the Giganotosaurus's fight.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- Sometimes she acts very proud and arrogant, especially to Owen and Lowery.
- She is a bit estranged from her sister and hasn't spent time with her nephews.
- She dropped her responsibility on her assistant, Zara, and did not address her absence after her death.
