Near Pure Goods who are mainly more serious than comical. They are played for seriousness and act solemn. Their opposites are Laughably Evil Near Pure Evils and their evil counterparts are Game Changers.
Near Pure Goods like Albus Dumbledore, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Queen Angella, Doctor Strange, Ichigo Kurosaki, Stanford Pines, Lieutenant Mattias, and Ezra Bridger are prime examples of Seriously Good Near Pure Goods.
It is slightly uncommon for a Love Exalted to qualify due to how it's meant for characters who are as pleasant as possible. Seriously Goods don't always go this route given how they are too serious to be that kind of enjoyable.
There can be in some cases if they have multiple serious moments along with a lot of moments where they're as enjoyable to be around as possible involving:
- Heroes who are designed to be serious but frequently come across as enjoyable (e.g. Buttercup, Harry Potter, Giorno Giovanna, Loid Forger, Skips, Piccolo, Puss in Boots and Ezra Bridger).
- Heroes who use a serious persona to hide their more playful nature (e.g. Shining Armor, Sir Nighteye, Wyldstyle, and John Goodspeed).
- Heroes who initially start off as serious but slowly became more lighthearted, comical, and enjoyable (e.g. Nao Tomori, Woody, Hitch Trailblazer, Saori Joumae, Buzz Lightyear, Prue Halliwell, Piper Halliwell, Phoebe Halliwell, Paige Matthews, Thor Odinson, and Master Chief).
- Heroes who are serious when fighting against enemies while keep a light-hearted attitude towards family and friends (e.g. Giyu Tomioka, Bruno Bucciarati).
- Heroes who are completely serious in one role and are more admirable in the other (e.g. Blossom, Gyro Zeppeli, Mia Fey, Mr. Incredible, and Dipper Pines).
Comic Reliefs usually never qualify, because they are way more comedic than they are serious, and while some Seriously Goods may have moments being the Comic Relief, they are played more seriously or slightly more seriously than they are played for laughs (e.g. Knuckles the Echidna)
