Pragmatists, are those who follow practical considerations above traditional morals, values or taboos. Pragmatic protagonists are heroes who are often opposite to Honorable heroes, though depending on character development, certain characters may be both at one point or another.
In order for this to be accepted in Near Pure Good standards, they must be one of the following:
- The action must never cross the Moral Event Horizon and there must be a purely good reason for what they do.
- They must never play dirty on their allies or rivals, even if they are skilled tricksters, they must play dirty with villains.
- They must have apologized, reflect on their actions or at least feel remorseful for what they have done.
- They could also end up never committing something dishonorable in response to their remorse.
- They can still commit their pragmatic decisions, but to a lesser degree or the same degree as before.
- They thought about breaking the rules, but never do it.
