Dash: She'd eat if we were having "Tony loaf".
Violet: THAT'S IT!!
~ Violet Parr lashing out at Dash when the former teases her about her crush on Tony Rydinger.
Murphy: Hey! You guys starting a fight or something?!
Diaz and Parker: [both growling vehemently]
Grizz: Oh, hey, girls, just in time. Nguyen and Wallace were just deciding who should be the leader.
Diaz: Ha! You're both trash. I should be the leader.
Grizz: Oh, a challenger has appeared.
Nguyen: What'd you say?!
Wallace: Yeah, watch it!
Murphy: Or what? You're gonna wave your book at me?
Grizz: Ho-ho! You gonna take that, Wallace?!
Wallace: That's funny, said no one.
Grizz: Oh, dang!
Parker: You're short and you smell!
Nguyen: Your face looks like feet!
Murphy: Your face looks like butt!
Wallace: Quiet, you buttface!
Diaz: I'm gonna rip your butt off!
Grizz: Okay! Well, that's a little...
Wallace: I'll tear you apart!
Diaz: Give me that book! Rawr!
~ Diaz, Parker, Murphy, Nguyen and Wallace having a heated argument over the Elite Ranger Guidebook before escalating into a brutal Ranger War.
Tom: Okay, there is one thing. In Green Hills, I've always felt, I don't know, more like a babysitter than a real cop, you know? So I want a chance to prove myself, under real pressure. I'm gonna move to San Francisco, become a street cop. And, I don't know, see if I have what it takes.
Sonic: (Being heated shocked)
Tom: What? Why... Why is your face doing that?
Sonic: You're leaving Green Hills?!
Tom: Okay.
Sonic: B-B-B-But why? Why would you leave Green Hills?
Tom: This may be hard for you to understand, but Green Hills is a small town. It's a very small town.
Sonic: Uh, it's not small. There are hundreds of people.
Tom: That's a small town, dude!
Sonic: It's the perfect town and the people need you!
Tom: Please. I clean out their gutters. I jump-start their cars in the winter. They could call anybody to do that.
Sonic: Sure they can call anybody, but they don't. They call you. [...] You're not making any sense!
Tom: Would you calm down?
Sonic: You come from a great town with great people and by my count, zero bad guys trying to kill you! Besides, what could possibly be more important than protecting the people you care about? [...] You know what? I was wrong about you. You're not the Donut Lord at all! You're more like the Jerk Lord!
~ Sonic the Hedgehog angrily scolding Tom Wachowski for his decision to abandon Green Hills.

Near Pure Goods who occasionally act a bit differently than usual. In spite of always being good in alignment, they can have times where they may get quite mad and act like more of a jerk than usual, or they may have small moments where they do little or nothing heroic at all. However, these moments would be small.

Cases involve:

  1. A hero who has despaired and lost hope after losing someone close to them, being betrayed, being defeated or failed, having personal issues or they were being looked down by others. Usually, the hero would become hostile and resistant to do anything optimistic as they would rather give up instead of standing up for who they are. Sometimes, the hero would break into tears and lamenting over their problems. Under these circumstances, the hero would prefer to be alone and away from others. After this moment, the hero would come to get over their depression and go back to helping others (e.g. Komaru Naegi, Sandy Cheeks, Thor, Rabbid Rosalina, Subaru Natsuki, Megamind, Alador Blight, Jade Grady, and Marlin). In these circumstances, the heroes could even temporarily lose control and seek revenge. However, they managed to regain their sanity and mercifully spare others' lives for good (e.g. The Second Coming, Sting Eucliffe, and Rimuru Tempest). Some heroes can be nihilistic in some cases (e.g. Peter B. Parker, Probst Wyatt III, and Kanao Tsuyuri).
  2. The hero becomes hostile and has moments of being a jerk to others. This may be because they are insecure, persuaded by others with bad influence, being annoyed, or going through a phase in their character. In these moments, the heroes would break out of this mentality and apologize to those they have offended. In other moments, the heroes would learn from their behavior and not repeat it (e.g. Disgust, Blossom, Edward Elric, Lightning McQueen, George Bailey, Cat Noir, Nick Wilde, Gwen, Aladdin, Shining Armor, Sprig Plantar, Eda Clawthorne, Danny Phantom, Sokka, Applejack, Miles Edgeworth, Kevin Van Newton, Zipp Storm, Sunburst, Teba, Hitch Trailblazer, Sasha Waybright, Ray Ferrier, Mabel Pines, Dewey Duck, Ryūko Matoi, Rani, Sonic the Hedgehog, Atreus, Phineas Flynn and Ash Ketchum).
  3. The hero would lose their temper and get angry at others, mostly for good reasons. It is mainly because of something that irritates them, anyone making mistakes, getting into arguments, being deceived, others being jerks or their loved ones getting harmed. However, the hero managed to calm down instantly and apologized for their outburst, though they sometimes don't apologize if the lash out was well reasoned (e.g. Buttercup, Sunset Shimmer, Stanford Pines, Aja Tarron, Dipper Pines, Katara, Red (Movie), Diaz, Parker, Murphy, Nguyen, Wallace, Pipp Petals, Rocko, Peppy Hare, Queen Angella, Ann Takamaki, Tenya Ida, Perfuma, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Quinn Ergon, Polly Plantar, Starlight Glimmer, Captain Marvel, Mr. Wolf, Tetra, Urbosa, Ladybug, Willow Park, Atsuko Kagari, Erza Scarlet, Shulk, Yoko Littner, Skips, Mr. Incredible, Violet Parr, Harry Potter, Misty, Fix-It Felix, Woody, Wyldstyle, Rarity, Reggie Rowe, Nero, Tori Spearleif, Winry Rockbell, and Maka Albarn).
  4. The hero would make mistakes which had unintentionally caused problems with others. The reasons for this include mischief, carelessness, and somewhat doing reckless things without consent. Despite this, the hero would fix their mistakes and promised not to repeat it again (e.g. Fear, Pink Panther, Pinkie Pie, Gus Porter, Iris Wilson, Soos Ramirez, Hop Pop Plantar, Goofy, Genie, Wreck-It Ralph, Princess Astral, Marcy Wu, Jack Skellington, Bobby, Daruk, Atreus, Rabbid Luigi, Mater, The Live-Action version of Sonic, Whisper the Wolf, and Katie Mitchell).
  5. The hero was exposed to toxins or forces that brought out their darkest qualities or something even worse. The heroes under these instances were either possessed, corrupted, or brainwashed from an external source. However, the heroes managed to recover themselves (e.g. Beast Boy, Lena Sabrewing, Natsu Dragneel, Axol, Mikan Tsumiki, Clawroline, Jenny Wakeman, Mr. Incredible, Fumikage Tokoyami, Stitch and Yunobo).
  6. The hero could be temporarily allying with the villains for their good intentions, on undercover, pragmatic reasons, or being manipulated by them for their own gains. However, the heroes would eventually realize it and rebelled against them for this (e.g. Spike, Hunter, Knuckles the Echidna, Quiet Robe, Kelly Quinn, Alex Rubium, Lilith Clawthorne, Phoenix Wright, Crash Bandicoot, Will Turner and Hawks).
  7. The hero can have a mental breakdown or a tantrum, such as anxiety, depression, or worse, losing control of themselves. However, they managed to get over with it (e.g. Bubbles, Tulin, Samus Aran, Dominic Wolfwood, Starfire, Doctor Strange, and Nana)
  8. The hero has moments of antagonizing others for any reasons, including for good. However, they later reformed themselves and apologized for their actions, though they did not apologize if it's well-reasoned (e.g. the movie version of Donkey Kong, Michael Afton, Captain Grime, Meta Knight, Jake, The Animator, and Sans).

NOTE: These Near Pure Goods could still be quite remorseful and apologetic or tend to learn from their mistakes.
