~ Touta Matsuda going to shoot Light.

~ Reimu Hakurei before killing the fortune teller who turned into a youkai.
Someone tries to hurt my family--someone I love-- If there's another villain out there putting lives in danger--who's just going to keep coming at me until they finally succeed... I won't hesitate to kill them.
~ Invincible promises Oliver Grayson that he will kill any villain that endangers the lives of others.

Near Pure Goods who have been a bit too lethal, or are willing to kill villains or at least attempt to do so as a first-resort option, which is a bit too far to qualify as righteous killers and thus cannot be Pure Good. Given the circumstances, they will occasionally kill when it is not necessary to do so or when it is questionable at best.

Their evil counterparts are Homicidal Near Pure Evils.

NOTE: This Category is not to be confused with Righteous Killers. Typically, Minor Lethal heroes kill when it's not needed, even when the villain isn't attacking anyone whereas righteous killers kill those when necessary such as to protect someone and defend themselves from death. These two categories are not mutually exclusive as in some cases, Near Pure Goods can still fall under both categories, if it is the case of them being that often kill to defend themselves and someone else in some cases, but they still kill others that wasn't attacking them in other cases (e.g. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Goku, Eddie Riggs, Cassie Cage, Erron Beaudoin and Harry Potter).

This also includes Near Pure Goods who don't actually kill someone yet have a desire to do so and are shown needlessly or brutally attacking or torturing someone (e.g Sans, Josuke Higashikata, Mr. Wolf, Diaz, Parker, Murphy, Nguyen, Wallace, Lapis Lazuli and Ann Takamaki).
