My fatal flaw is hubris. (...) Hubris means deadly pride, Percy. Thinking you can do things better than anyone else… even the gods.
~ Annabeth Chase explaining her fatal flaw to Percy Jackson.
I wasn't the one whose boobs magically grew a size bigger as soon as (player's chosen name) started showing up!!
~ Natsuki mocking Yuri during their heated argument between differing poetic techniques.
Darth Maul: You have Kenobi's arrogance.
Ahsoka Tano: You'll find out that I'll have many qualities for you to DISLIKE!
~ Darth Maul recalling how arrogant Obi-Wan Kenobi is and comparing Ahsoka Tano, who proves his point, to him.

These are brash Near Pure Goods who have a small dose of arrogance, pride and/or cockiness that prevents them from being Pure Good.

Examples include Anya Forger, who lets her heroic acheivements go to her head, Disgust, an emotion that looks down on others, and Sonic the Hedgehog, who taunts his enemies about his speed.

A subcategory of Near Pure Goods under here are egotists, people who think they are better than others or people who are selfish or pompous, but their selflessness outweighs their egotism enough to make them disqualified as these on the Heroes Wiki (e.g. Sonic the Hedgehog, Natsuki, Megamind, Cassie Lang, Wallace, Nguyen, Robin, Go Go Tomago, Donkey Kong, Captain Marvel, Knuckles the Echidna, Shazam).

Their counterparts are Arrogant, and at worst, Egotistical Near Pure Evils.
