Horror Near Pure Goods are those who show up in horror works and are meant to scare the audience. This has been considered to be one of the more unintentional categories for a hero to be Near Pure Good given in how horror tends to get even the protagonist to derail from the criteria too much, being grounded too much in the sense of despair and dread over what may happen to them making them like everyone else. But some manage to pull it off following the criteria despite how horrific the situation can get for them.
