These are Near Pure Goods who look for a type of treasure, either wealth, fame, and at times glory, cashes of treasure, seeking something from a treasure chest.
Whether they were once motivated by greed, or the promise of fortunes is sufficient to begin them with their hero's journey, this might vary which is what depends on the character, but NPGs usually are seen redeeming themselves and doing such noble deeds that outweight their fortune-centered habits, they stand out as being selfless and so that they don't become more like their more greedier counterparts.
