Candy Chiu is a supporting character in the 2012 animated series, Gravity Falls.
She is the nerdy and eccentric best friend of Grenda Grendinator and Mabel Pines. She spends a lot of the summer along with them, occasionally facing the dangerous and weird supernatural events or creatures that plague the town of Gravity Falls.
She is voiced by Niki Yang.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- She quickly befriends Mabel Pines alongside Grenda, and comforts her over not winning the sing off against Pacifica.
- She helped Mabel, Dipper and the rest of their group fight off the Summerween Trickster when they failed to bring him the candy he required.
- She, Grenda and Mabel rescued Sevr'al Timez, a boy band that are actually clones, from their abusive master.
- Alongside Grenda, she made Mabel see how dependent she was making Sevr'al Timez to her, not that different from their previous master, which eventually convinced her to let them go.
- She goes to gather Unicorn hair alongside Mabel, Wendy and Grenda, a very important ingredient to shield the Mistery Shack from the Dream Demon, Bill Cipher
- When Celistebellabetabella refuses to give her hair and makes Mabel have really low self esteem, Candy helps Wendy and Grenda steal it from her and later fight off the unicorns after their scam is exposed.
- She helped Grunkle Stan flee from Darlene's lair.
- Single-handedly saved Grenda, Stan, Mabel and Dipper, besides herself, from Darlene, by dropping their tram in a geiser, throwing them high in the air and bringing Darlene, a ruthless serial killer, along. Not only this saved them, but trapped Darlene in a way it would, at least for some time, prevent her from luring and killing men in a frequent basis like she did.
- While Darlene's specific defeat, being imprisoned under a giant boot, was technically a side effect, it was still a direct result of Candy's action of fighting back at her, so even if not especially intended, it can be credited to her.
- Accepted Dipper's apology, and agreed to remain friends with him.
- Attempted to comfort Mabel over the fact she would not be able to be present at her birthday party.
- Helps the resistance build the Shacktron.
- Controls, alongside Grenda, the Shacktron's fists, thus playing an important part in fighting off the Henchmaniacs, and later, fighting and distracting Bill Cipher while the Zodiac members infiltrated his castle to find a way to beat him once and for all.
- Despite the series' high admirable standards, Candy has far less resources and less screentime than the most admirable characters, meaning it is unfair to compare her to the likes of Stanley Pines, Stanford Pines, Old Man McGucket and Wendy Corduroy,
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She fails the admirable standards to Pacifica Northwest, who defeat a dangerous entity in the form of the Lumberjack Ghost and participated in the Zodiac, and to Dipper and Mabel Pines, who though possessing more resources in the form of the knowledge from the Journal 3 and various supernatural trinkets, have also committed many admirable acts without use of them.
- She has some jerkish moments such as forcing Dipper to wear makeup, fighting with her friends over petty reasons in the Northwest Manor party, and claiming Dipper "ran away from that Spider like a baby" despite she, like everybody else, running away from Darlene initially.
