What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?

• He is one of the nicest Total Drama characters.
• He is a good friend to Mike and Zoey.
• Out of kindness, he tries to help Mike with his personality disorder and with Zoey.
• When Brick is eliminated, he honorably salutes him before he leaves.
• When the mutated monsters where accidentally unleashed onto Colosseum in the finale, Cameron is quick to protect the others from the mutants, even prioritizing their safety over his ongoing battle with Lightning to win the million dollars.
• He saved Mike, Brick, Zoey, Jo, and Staci from Larry.
• After winning the million dollars, he decides to split the money with the other contestants including Jo, Scott, and Lightning despite them mistreating and bullying him.
• In All-Stars, he tries again to help "Mike", not knowing that he is Mal.
• He helps Zoey and Gwen in the final challenge by helping them across toxic waste so they wouldn't get mutated.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?

• He has two jerkish moments. In Revenge of the Island, he blows a raspberry at Lightning in the confessional cam after he won the game. Later, in All-Stars, he used Scott as literal shark-bait for Fang, making him minor lethal.
• He fails the in-story standards to Gwen and Zoey, who with similar resources thanks to Cameron's intelligence, crossed the goodness zone few times more than him. However, since he still saved people, this is a minor prevention.

Trivia

• He, along with Gwen and Mike, are the only Total Drama characters to be Near Pure Good.
