Cait Sith is a major protagonist in the Team Four Star series, Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged. He is voiced by Lanipator.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He objects to President Shinra's decision to drop a section of the city on top of another section of the city due to how many lives would be lost. He even states to have cried when the company went through with it anyway.
- He does his best to be the most responsible employee in Shinra, both morally and financially, calling out the rest of the board on how they abuse their finances and power (though he is only listened to in regards to Palmer).
- He forms a bond with Cloud as Cait Sith upon the two of them meeting.
- He is shown to be absolutely bothered by the fact that Dyne is the one responsible for the deaths at the Gold Saucer due to him killing indiscriminately instead of going after Shinra (the people who wronged him). He is also bothered by how the rest of the party doesn't consider this detail off.
- He objects to the idea of killing Rufus, even providing a nonlethal alternative.
- He is unnerved in being a part of taking the Tiny Bronco behind Cid's back.
- Upon being outed as a spy, he makes it clear he has huge regrets over betraying Cloud's trust and swears to make things right even offering to become a reverse mole by giving them intel on Shinra's plans.
- He continues traveling with Avalanche because he wants to help them take down Shinra to atone for the crimes he helped them commit even when the party makes it clear that they don't trust him at all and would rather off him with the rest of Shinra, unlike in canon where he stuck around as part of his job for Shinra before eventually switching sides.
- When the party finds an injured Tseng in the temple of the ancients, Cait Sith shows concern for him and expressing the need to help him.
- He volunteers to be the one to shrink the Materia for Cloud and Aerith knowing that he could send a second Cait Sith afterward to continue helping them.
- He saves Tifa and Barret from being executed by Rufus.
- He alerts the party of Scarlet taking over Shinra to perform even worse atrocities, even revealing Scarlet ordering to have Rufus's cousin executed.
- When he, Cloud and Vincent face off against Scarlet and Heidegger, he broadcasts a feed across Midgar to motivate the entire city to stand up against Shinra once and for all, even publically revealing himself to be Reeve.
- He recruits the Turks to gather all of the party's ultimate weapons for them as a way of getting them some work due to Shinra shutting down rendering them unemployed.
- He tries to help out in the final battle against Sephiroth... The keyword being tries. There wasn't really much he could do here as he didn't really have any reliable ways of combat like the rest of the party.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- Even though he is against killing Rufus, he shows to not be above other cruel methods as he is quick and willing to suggest drugging and torturing Rufus while also suggesting sending a ransom notice if they wanna make a quick buck when asked about an alternative.
